Running Time: 152 min. (cover states ”Over 3 Hours” which is true if you include the extras. I find this a misleading claim and am sadly deducting a half point from the overall score because of it.)

The Short Story

Initial Expectations: In addition to being one heck of a nice guy, Ivan is one heck of a great director. Tony T. also seems to have turned a corner as a person, and although I haven't seen his work behind the camera yet I can't help but look forward to this one due to how Ivan has spoke of him.

Initial Reaction: It's pretty hot and shows some very nice care for the overall DVD.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nicely done. The audio is clear and nicely balanced, but there are a couple very minor background noises. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and also looks very nice. It's clear, well lit, and any motion is nicely smooth.

Music: The music is very well done and rests in the background nicely. It's quiet enough that many times I didn't even notice it and doesn't have an overly porno style.

Menus: The main menu brings together a very nice still and a few clips from the movie with a simple but cool style. The chapter menu nicely lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene, a still of the cougar(s) in it, and the name of the cougar(s) in it.

The Feature

Cougars 2 keeps things pretty simple. Each scene focuses on an older woman (or two, in the case of the Richards) and lets them tease the camera before putting out plenty of fucking and sucking.

I know there's plenty of people out there who will probably enjoy this scene for that very same reason, but it held the scene back slightly for me. Even though this is a pretty hot scene, it's also my least favorite in the movie.

Cougars 2 is a hot fuck flick. The scenes are simple, but at the same time they're captured well enough and there's enough chemistry in front of the camera that simple is never really a bad thing here. My only real complaint about the movie is that although there is a little variety to the action, a little variety is all there is. I would have loved to see a little pussy and ass eating for the girls, and the entire movie felt like it was very limited for locations. Even with those complaints, however, the scenes all worked well for me with Diana Doll probably turning out my favorite scene in the movie but with none of them ever falling close to the average mark. Cougars 2 is a straightforward fuck flick, but it still works well.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery lasts about three and a half minutes with about five seconds per very good looking framed photo. There's also a behind the scenes featurette, weblinks, cumshot recaps, and the ability to watch the movie with or without the music.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about a half hour. Claudia starts things out stepping out of the shower and chats for a while about porn, guys, and her plans before Tony and Diana talk about the last time they were going to work together and how a car accident derailed them. They also chat about darker subjects and porn being a side job for her as she cleans up. Chennin is next, who talks about how great a time she had and talks about some of her sexual experiences and how she's changed sexually over the years. Things return to Diana for a little fun before moving on with the Richards sisters who talk about being step-sisters, which is the evil one, and working with John Strong. They even try a little dick hula-hooping before Summer gets rid of a little cum, shows off a gunshot wound, and talks about the need for hot water. Finally, there's a little more fun with the Richards sisters and another quest for hot water. This is a very nice behind the scenes featurette. You get to see most of the cast and there's both personality from them as well as some nice eye candy. This featurette is definitely worth checking out.

Currently, many of Anabolic's current releases can be found online for between about $17 and $25 with very few stores offering them for under $20. This one's worth the money. The sex is straightforward but well done and there's nice chemistry in each of the scenes. The technical aspects are nicely done and the behind the scenes featurette shows a lot of care. This is a well done DVD.

Note to Anabolic: Listing a running time is always nice, but listing it for the entire DVD is rather useless as there are some people who don't care about the behind the scenes, cumshot recaps, or trailers. In the future, please only list a running time for the actual movie.
