David Walker Helms (Eli Cross) is California's first Republican senator in over a decade and he has plans for The White House. Helms' personal life is a mess though with his wife Caroline Anderson-Helms (Kylie Ireland) and his mistress Natasha (Hillary Scott). Natasha becomes an issue for his campaign.

Corruption is a massively ambitious movie and Eli Cross has done a good job with it. The movie has a Hollywood feel and look to it with impressive visuals and a nicely done plot. The cinematography is well done.

The movie features a great cast that don't just shine in their sexual roles but do a great job with the scripted material as well. The sex scenes fit in well with the plot so they don't feel like they are interruptions to the film. The sex scenes are well done, the cast stays in character. However they are long, which ultimately does work against the movie. The director's cut, which Sex-Z Pictures also referred to as the XXXX version, contains an additional seven minutes of footage which includes fisting that was not included in the standard cut of the film. While in all honesty the footage doesn't make Corruption a better movie, or worse movie for that matter, most viewers will probably want to get the most complete cut available for the film, which is this one.

Corruption, in the director's cut, has a massive over four hour run time, which makes it longer than most viewers will sit and watch at one time. Given that it is a feature, this ultimately does work against the movie. As nice as they looked and were edited, the sex scenes should have been edited down to make the movie more digestible in one sitting with extended versions of the sex scenes on the disc that can be watched separately.

Overall, Corruption boasts a well developed plot, some great sex scenes, and an excellent cast. The movie looks great but is incredibly long. Corruption is well recommended but your average viewer will have to split it into two viewings to take in the entire movie.

Sex-Z Pictures has done a good job with this release. Their only main issue with this release is that they made it almost impossible for purchasers to determine whether they were buying the director's cut or the standard cut of the movie. The covers were slightly different but neither one indicated which version was inside. This release contains the director's cut of Corruption only. The director's cut contains seven minutes of additional footage that was trimmed from the standard cut of the movie. Corruption is presented with the anamorphic widescreen aspect ratio of 1.85:1. The presentation on this transfer is beautiful. The image is crystal clear and no blemishes were noticed while viewing.

Corruption is presented with an English Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo track. The audio track sounds great and works well for the material being presented. Given the budget and care taken with the movie, it is unfortunate that the disc doesn't contain a 5.1 Dolby Digital surround track. However there is absolutely nothing wrong with this track. All dialog is clear and easy to hear.

This release from Sex-Z Pictures consists of three discs. The movie spans the first two discs. The only extra contained on the first two discs is a commentary track with Kylie Ireland, Eli Cross, Ren Savant, Belial, and Hillary Scott. The commentary is good but can be very hard to hear.

The third disc is where all the extras are. There is a 41 minute behind the scenes piece along with a 15 minute pre-production behind the scenes piece. There are 12 minutes of bloopers. The uncut blow job scene with Hillary Scott and Eli Cross' stunt cock Chris Cannon is on the disc and lasts for eight minutes. The trailer for Corruption is contained on the disc. There is a behind the scenes photo gallery, production stills photo gallery, hardcore photo gallery, and a glamour stills photo gallery. There is also an iPod download of Corruption on the disc.

Corruption is a well done adult film with a good plot, nice sex scenes, and some great acting by a talented director and cast. The only drawback is the movie is very long. Sex-Z Pictures has done a great job with this release. This edition contains the director's cut with seven additional minutes of sexual footage that wasn't in the regular edition of the movie.
