Review:
“Content” is a very good production directed by Eon McKai and distributed by Vivid. Put forth under the Vivid Alt brand, it comes as no surprise that one finds actresses here who fit less into the typical “porn star” mold and more into the alternative / punk / gothic mold. As such, tattoos, funky hairdos, and piercings abound, and the theme is fairly dark. In advancing this melancholic motif, grungy sets are employed, the film’s colors are fairly bland when compared with other contemporary adult productions, and—in at least some places—the edges of the screen have a softened appearance. Further, the camerawork gets a bit jumpy from time to time, and some odd camera angles are utilized. All of this is clearly done for effect, however, and it works out well in accomplishing the task of giving the disc an “alternative” feel. Indeed, this is sometimes accomplished too well, in fact, with the onscreen text and its intentional misspellings coming off, at times, as pretentious and “too cool for words”. That said, these attempts at youthful nonchalance and, to some degree, arrogance are fairly minor and don’t detract significantly from the movie—or the sex—which can be quite hot.

In terms of the sex, there are five scenes presented here—all of which are of the boy-girl variety. In Scene One, Kimberly Kane and Mr. Pete get things started with a gritty, yet hot, encounter that includes some multi-positioned anal work by the pair, as well as hard and heavy oral action by Kimberly. This latter activity is pretty sloppy and includes face-fucking, spit, gagging, and deep-throating. The sequence finishes off with Kimberly gently jerking and sucking Mr. Pete to an orgasm on her face and mouth—very nice! Scene Two has Coco Velvet being lightly dominated by a somewhat aggressive Daniel and involves—among other items—some nice doggie-style and cowgirl sex. This one closes out with a pop-shot on Coco’s chest and neck, followed by some cum play, finger-licking, and a bit of oral cock clean-off. In Scene Three, Madison Young and Dane Cross partake in a forceful romp that includes amongst its highlights sexy missionary-like vaginal sex and hot cowgirl and side-entry anal action. A facial cum-shot, along with some subsequent oral cock clean-off and cum-lapping off of a surface, brings this sequence to a close. Scene Four brings forth Cali Nova and Ben Jammin (love this name) in an all-vaginal encounter that is of the good variety. The best work here is the lengthy blowjob featuring spit and gagging that Cali puts out. This segment finishes off with an ejaculation on Cali’s face and mouth. In the final scene—Scene Five—there is a semi-forceful anal romp involving Kitty Me-Ow McMuffin (not loving this name) and Sherwood. In the vaginal category, this one can count some nice cowgirl and reverse-cowgirl action amongst its highlights, while in the anal category, the reverse-cowgirl and doggie-style positions are the best. This sequence closes out with a tiny pop-shot to Kitty’s mouth, followed by a second, larger pop-shot to her face and mouth.

In terms of bonus materials and other options, there is a “Scenes” option—which leads to a standard scene selection mechanism—and there is a “Trailers” selection—which gives a choice of three related trailers. There is also a “Photos” option—which plays through a slideshow of “pretty girl” shots and stills from the production. Finally, there is a “BTS” choice, which is filmed strangely but is still interesting (~20 minutes).

In all, this disc is very good and worthy of a watch. This is particularly true if the viewer is into the whole alternative scene or is simply looking for a break from standard porn fare. While there is a bit of youthful arrogance intentionally interjected into the proceedings, and things do get a bit artsy, neither of these items detracts in a meaningful way from the production. In fact, the latter is actually fairly cool—not so much the former, however. Regardless, with hot sex and a unique feel, this disc is worth picking up and checking out.
