Audio /Video Quality:
As usual with B. Skow, the technical aspects are a bit on the rough side. I know some people really love this style, but it doesn't do that much for me. The audio is pretty clear and decently balanced, and I didn't notice any background noises to interfere with it. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and is where the roughness is so noticeable to me. There's a fair amount of lighting that's just inconsistent enough to notice, as well as a touch of motion in places and an overall minimalist look that just doesn't work well for me with releases such as this.
The Movie:

Although this shouldn't come as much of a surprise to anyone who's watched Steven before, Kasey's performance literally blew me away. Yes, she's done a nice job in some vignette setups that I've seen, but it's nothing like the job she does here. Her performance here is easily one of the best I've seen over the last year, and one that should land her plenty of leading feature film roles. I can't wait to watch her continue to grow as an actress. Sexually the movie is good, but not great. There's great chemistry in each of the scenes, but Skow's minimalist style just doesn't do much for me. It regularly left me wanting more, and the scenes also seemed heavily drawn out. It's great that the performers are enjoying themselves, but when they're going through a position for the third and fourth time it gets old. Heck, they might have actually went through a position a fifth time in Layton or Adriana's scene, and if so I probably missed it as my eyes were starting to glaze over from the repetition. As for the story, it's not bad, but also not great. It mostly works around the interracial taboo / shock factor with some predictable happenings, but also seems to kind of lose its way and stumble a little halfway through the movie. Layton is darn hot, but her entire scene with Steven just didn't fit into the rest of the movie that well. Color Blind has some good sex and some great performances, but I also can't see it having much replay value so give it a rent instead of shelling out the big bucks for it.
The Extras:
The only extra on the first DVD is twenty five minutes of trailers. A second DVD is also included, which has four bonus scenes (Marie McCray and Steven St. Croix from Truth Be Told, Dillion Harper and Richie Calhoun from Southern Hospitality, Kasey Warner and Seth Gamble from In the Flesh and Capri Cavanni, Riley Reid, and Ryan McLane from Daddy's Girls 2).
