Colon Czech Review

General Impression
Horizon tend to make a cheaper DVD. Their releases are usually hit or miss affairs. I basically liked the look of the cover on this one and the price was right so I took a look.

I was actually surprised how good it was. Its by no means ‘quality’ but the erection factor is present. The premise of the DVD is that the directors Peter and Envy (whoever they are) have traveled to Cannes for the Hot D’or adult awards and have caught up with some of these beauties whilst there. That’s the only storyline I can assume because the story is very weak. It seems most of the scenes are just thrown together without anything to link them, and if your into Gonzo like me, this isn’t a problem.

As far as the ‘Czech’ angle is concerned some of the girls could be Czech. I know the first girl to appear, Layla-Jade is British. So I don’t now if the rest are or not, you can’t tell by voices because barely a word is uttered throughout the whole thing. Perhaps it could just be a poor attempt at a play on words by substituting Czech for check.

Sex Highlights
The first scene, and the only scene to have any sort of storyline, starts with Layla-Jade broken down on the side of the road on her way to the Hot D’or awards. She is approached by a kind hearted soul to manages to fix her car and she in turn offers to reward him by letting him fuck her ass. They go off into the bushes and go at it. Layla-Jade is a short haired ‘skanky’ looking blond. I have seen her in other movies and she looks the same in all of them. However, she does like her sex and is quite dirty about it. She gets the standard fuck treatment with a cumshot on her pussy (the action here tends to be a little too tight, I would have preferred a wider shot. You can just about taste the stuff). They then move onto vigorous anal in both doggy and reverse cowgirl. The second cumshot is on her ass.

The next scene takes place in a motel room with Jane Blue. She is an average looking brunette. I wouldn’t say she is a glamour in any way, but she isn’t without her charms. A fairly average scene. There are some nice missionary anal penetration shots. Popshot is also on her pussy.

There are some nice voyeur type shots of girls on the beach before the next scene starts which involves a rather tall buxom blond by the name of Venus. Again, she isn’t exactly a glamour but nonetheless cute and puts in a rather enthusiastic performance. By the way, it was her pic on the cover that persuaded me to buy this DVD. I like a girl with a bit of meat on her bones and larger tits. The best part of this scene for me was when she slides her ass onto this guys dick for the first time in reverse cowgirl position...very nice. The popshot is on her ass in doggy position.

The next girl is Dominica who looks to be the closest to being Czech than anyone else in the movie. She is fairly attractive with the typical euro body. She gives some pretty good-looking head to begin with and then moves onto 69. The camera operator here appears to be distracted at times because they move out of shot whilst the camera remains looking at nothing. Apart from this minor slip up the scene itself is fairly standard. Missionary, reverse cowgirl, doggy anal, a gape or two and a load on her pussy.

The last girl, Angela, claims to be from the Czech republic as she talks to some guy from LA who briefly chats her up and then takes her back to his motel room. She is another ‘average’ looking brunette with a bit of meat on her, compared to your standard euro nymphet. She gets her ass pounded quite well in doggy position, its also at this time that we probably hear the most moaning and talking throughout the whole movie. It’s a shame they had to put some crappy music that is a little too loud over this scene. She is the only girl who takes a load on her face.

Negatives
I can’t say that this movie is bad, but its not anything that stands out either. I would have preferred to see some threesomes especially in the Venus scene. The girls are all fairly plain, which was kind of an attraction for me because I prefer to see ordinary looking ‘attainable’ women sometimes rather than glamours. The scenes were generally well shot but they would have benefited with a bit of lighting in some of them. Whilst not dark, they tend to look washed out. I would have preferred a lot more interaction between the couples.

The DVD
The DVD could have been authored better by having chapter markers at key points in scenes, basically you can jump to the start of a scene or the middle and that’s about it. Horizon do a reasonable job on their extras. There is a photo gallery that is a little different in that the camera pans or zooms across a photo and dissolves into the next one rather than having just the full size photo full screen and then jumping to the next one. There are previews for six other Horizon releases. A website promo and an interesting addition of a feature called ‘Interacting Amateurs’. I have seen this on a couple of Horizon releases and like it. Its amateur video that has been submitted by viewers. Sometimes these videos can be ten minutes or more. Whilst the technical quality obviously isn’t there, it’s good to watch true amateurs going at it.

Summary
For the price I paid for this DVD I’m not disappointed. The sex is good although not out of the ordinary. The girls are natural looking and the features are good.

Worth a look if you see it on sale.
