The Collector 5: Natalia Starr marks the fifth abduction by the evil Collector (Luc Wylder) and his henchman Master Thomas Pistol (Tommy Pistol) of a woman in need of their unique training. In this entry in The Collector series, The Collector and Master Thomas Pistol's target is lovely but stuck-up Natalia Starr (Natalia Starr).

While Natalia Starr is berating the man who is trying to find her sister, Master Thomas Pistol sneaks up and gets the best of her, bringing her back to The Collector. The Collector has Master Thomas Pistol teach Natalia Starr that she is a slut pig slave with no rights.

As far as the story goes, The Collector 5: Natalia Starr is somewhat inadequate. There is a very short set-up to the movie that covers Natalia Starr's abduction prior to the extended bondage scene. This reviewer is a fan of plot-based adult entertainment and wishes that there was more work put into the vignette-style set-up for the bondage scene.

The lack of a substantial story for The Collector 5: Natalia Starr doesn't mean that the acting in the movie isn't top notch. Tommy Pistol, who never seems to let the viewer down, does a great job as the sadistic Master Thomas Pistol and Natalia Starr is excellent as the distressed damsel. However, it is Luc Wylder and his gravelly voice acting as the malevolent Collector that steals the movie. This reviewer would never have guessed that he was behind the voice of the Collector.

The majority of the movie is taken up by the bondage scene. Unlike the bondage films of old, like the old BDSM films from California Star, the bondage scene in The Collector 5: Natalia Starr does contain penetrative sex. The sex is mixed in with the bondage and other BDSM acts that are present throughout the scene. The bondage scene itself is on the darker and more intense side.

The Collector 5: Natalia Starr does break the fourth wall. The Collector is acknowledged as the cameraman, and the concept that Natalia Starr is performing for his camera is also accepted. The sets are rather simplistic. Natalia Starr's office is briefly seen at the beginning of the movie, and the rest of the movie is shot in The Collector's lair.

As for whether The Collector 5: Natalia Starr is right for you depends on what you, the viewer, are looking for in your BDSM movies. If you are looking for light-hearted BDSM-lite or a significant featurette-style set-up, The Collector 5: Natalia Starr is not the movie for you. If you are looking for a more intense BDSM movie and feel a plot gets in the way of the action, The Collector 5: Natalia Starr should be viewed.

Bizarre Video has done an excellent job with their DVD release of The Collector 5: Natalia Starr. The Collector 5: Natalia Starr was shot digitally and is presented in the anamorphic widescreen aspect ratio of 1.78:1 in 480i. The image quality for the movie is excellent with beautiful colors and no noticeable issues with the picture at all.

The Collector 5: Natalia Starr is presented with an English Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo audio track. The movie makes good use of the Stereo environment, and the dialog in the movie is clear and easy to understand at all times. There aren't any discernible issues with the sound quality.

The fifth entry in Bizarre Video's The Collector series has The Collector and his henchman Master Thomas Pistol training the stuck up Natalia Starr to obey them. The set-up for the BDSM scene is incredibly brief and isn't going to satisfy fans of plot-based adult entertainment. However, fans of harder-edged BDSM scenes are going to love The Collector 5: Natalia Starr. Tommy Pistol gives an excellent sinister performance, and Natalia Starr gives a great distressed performance. Bizarre Video has done an excellent job with their DVD with excellent audio and video quality.
