Audio /Video Quality:
The technical aspects are very nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced and sounds every bit as good as a mainstream Hollywood production. That said, Code of Honor not only easily met them, but exceeded them. Yes, this is a big bit of fluff porn with girls running around with guns being all macho, but it works because it's hot and fun. There's plenty of girl power humor throughout the movie, and although a couple of the scenes felt a bit forced into the plot, most of them worked nicely. There's some nice spunk between the girls on the team and some nice attention to some of the little details when they're on their mission so that it isn't a complete eye-roller. The sex is solid with nice chemistry along with good chemistry and editing, and the movie moves along at a nice pace. The final orgy seems a bit longer than normal for Digital Playground's big releases, and that's just fine as they always seemed a little short to me. Code of Honor is a very enjoyable big budget porno that's hot as well as plenty of fun.
The Extras:
As often happens with Digital Playground's major releases each year, a second DVD is devoted entirely to extras. Trailers are included for eight other Digital Playground releases. The photo gallery lasts a little under seven minutes. There's also a behind the scenes featurette, a company trailer, and a featurette lasting about two and a half minutes showcasing the DP girls.
The behind the scenes featurette lasts a few seconds over a half hour. After a few quick shots around the set, things turn fun as Selena's laugh is showcased and Jesse talks about the movie. After a little of the cast working with Robby and some of the crew, Jesse, Tasha, and Brooklyn have a little fun as they chat with Jamall. Things continue around the set with Jamall capturing the girls at the shooting range, working on lines, and having plenty of fun around the set. There's also plenty of fun with the girls having to go in the water to wrap things up. This is a very nice behind the scenes featurette. It does a pretty good job of showing just how big of a movie this was as well as having plenty of fun and showing plenty of eye candy. This is a nice addition to the overall package, but as this was the main attraction of the second DVD it did leave me wanting a little more in regards to the making of the movie rather than just the typical Digital Playground behind the scenes.
