Synopsis:
One night on the job, after being rejected, down on his luck bartender Lazlo (Leslie Taylor) gets a visit from a mysterious man, who offers him the pleasures he has been missing out on, but for a price.

Audio/Video:
Club Inferno is presented with an English 2.0 Stereo track and although there are a few places where I think the movie would have benefitted from either a 2.0 Dolby Pro-Logic mix or a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround mix, those places are few and far between so it probably wouldn't have been worth it for Elegant Angel to have utilized such capabilities. The Stereo track does work for the material being presented though and the audio levels are well balanced. The dialog is clear and easy to hear. Elegant Angel hasn't included any foreign language tracks or any subtitle options for the feature movie.

Club Inferno is presented in the full screen aspect ratio of 1.33:1, which works for the movie. The picture is clear without the presence of any artifacts or glitches. There are a few places that the picture doesn't look quite right, but I think that is due to the use of short motion effects and not problems with the master. The color levels are correctly set and the picture looks good.

Special Features:
There is an almost twelve minute Behind the Scenes piece that is nicely done and shows Patrick setting up the scenes. There is also a seventeen minute bonus scene on the disc from Succulence featuring Lady D, Margaret, Leslie Taylor, and Nick Lang. There are also trailers included on the disc for Slave Dolls, Dirty Trixxx, Lady Fellatio, Internally Yours 3, and Heavy Handfuls 2.

Disc Design/Navigation:
The disc is designed with simple animated menus with background rock music that are functional, but resemble all of the other Elegant Angel menus. There are eight chapters available from the chapter menu, as well as being the only chapter stops available within the feature movie itself. They are identified by a video clip from the scene that the chapter goes to. There is a chapter included for the end credits, which I always love and wish more adult discs had. There is a time code for the feature movie encoded on the disc.

General Review:
Club Inferno is an adult retelling of sorts of Historia von D. Johann Fausten published in 1587 by Johann Spies, which could have been an excellent movie. Unfortunately, the end result isn't up to what it could have been. Don't get me wrong, Patrick Collins has put together some excellent, new ideas on an old story that has been retold countless times in mainstream and adult productions. I love some of the twisted changes that Patrick has made to the story, the problem with the movie is that it feels incomplete. The movie starts out with a nice set-up/sex scene that opens the story.

Then the plot wanes away for the middle of the movie with a series of sex scenes. The sex scenes are related to the story and help advance it, but not enough on their own or with the snippets of plotted portions that exist there. This is where the downfall of the movie exists. I don't know if there were more filmed portions that were cut for run time, if budgetary reasons kept additional plotted scenes from being made or if Patrick never had the time to finish writing the movie. As I said earlier, the sex scenes here do relate to the story being told in the movie. But when watching them, you feel like there should be more plotted portions with them which instead are shown as a few second clips before going into the next scene.

Then at the end of the film, the plot comes back to set the movie up for it's dark and twisted ending. I loved the ending to the movie, it doesn't fit the standard adult movie formula and although it may not be to the liking of some viewers, I think enhanced the movie. On the other side, it also made me wish that the middle had been better developed as it showed that Patrick did put thought into the movie.

The sex scenes are decent. They feature some beautiful women and some above average looking men who are fun to watch. Some of the acts in the scenes went beyond what I enjoy, for instance, there was too much gaping and anal fingering for my tastes, but taking each scene as a whole, they were enjoyable to watch. The stars appear to be enjoying themselves during the scenes and they also tend to stay in character for them, which is an added bonus since this is a feature movie. The sexual themes in the movie are vaginal and anal sex with blow jobs, pussy eating, pussy fingering, anal fingering, gaping, male masturbation, A2M, lesbianism, DP, toys (vaginal), feet, and female masturbation. For viewers that care about condom use, there are no condoms used in the movie.

There are a few technical issues that I think worked against the movie as well. The cheap video effects that are used occasionally didn't work too well with the movie. They ended up being more distracting than enhancing. I also wasn't too impressed with the motion effects used in some of the scenes. I think they detracted from the overall movie rather than benefitting it. The only other technical issue with the movie is I felt, given the theme, that the sets were too brightly lit. The movie has a dark theme to it, but the sex scenes and the plotted scenes, except for the end, all take place on very brightly lit sets. I think if the light had been dimmed down, more shadows were used and possibly some red tones in the background, the mood of the movie would have fit the theme more.

Scene Synopsis:
The first scene brings us Maya Gold, Franco Roccaforte, and Leslie Taylor and starts out with Maya giving Leslie a blow job before she invites him to eat her pussy. Parting Thoughts:
Club Inferno could have been an excellent movie but instead it ends up being an average movie. There are some great ideas expressed in the movie, but they are never fully played out. The sex scenes are enjoyable to watch though, so the movie isn't a complete let down. Viewers that like nastier sex and don't mind the presence of plot elements will like this movie more than viewers that like tame sex or hate a plot to get in the way of their sex.
