The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are artistic but extremely well done. The audio is clear and well balanced without any sign of background noises. The video, however, is where the movie really shines. To start with, it's presented in anamorphic widescreen and masterfully blends full color and black and white footage. There are some filters used, so it's not crystal clear, and there's also some natural light used for bleaching effects. These things can be very hit or miss for me, but Sisco uses it all to her advantage for a fantastic visual look.

Music: There's a little music during the setups, but that's it. When there is music, it's very well balanced with the rest of the audio.

False Advertising: The cover lists both interviews and behind the scenes among the extras, although there's only a behind the scenes featurette on the DVD. There are a few questions with Tall Goddess in the behind the scenes, but it's far from what I'd call “interviews”. I'm deducting a half point because of this.

Menus: The main menu blends the chapter menu in so you have a large still with clips of each chapter along one side of the screen. You can choose between one of the scenes or the standard menu options. There's a part of me that likes it due to it being different and nicely done, and another part that doesn't care for it because it almost feels cheap.

The Feature

Sometimes things aren't clear, even in yourself. One day you wake, uncertain which you is the real you. Is it the wanton woman of dreams or the adult executive? Is fantasy in control or is it being controlled? Tall Goddess just doesn't know, but as she explores those questions with several scenes, gives a little show before each scene in varying outfits.

Scene 1 - Jamie Huxley and Alec Knight

After telling somebody on the other end of the phone that she won't be late for a funeral she's dressed for, brunette Jamie heads for the door with her security guard, Alec. She changes her mind as they hit the door, asks him what he'd be doing if he wasn't protecting her, and when she's told that he'd be with his wife and shown the ring, she grabs his hand in disgust and starts seductively and aggressively sucking his finger until she gets the ring off which is spit on the floor. Jamie pushes him against the wall throwing aside Alec's protests about his wife and maintaining a professional relationship and drops down to pull him out of his pants and energetically suck him. I also love how Jamie keeps on her veil, bra, panties, and garter belt throughout the scene, just pulling down her bra and pulling her panties aside so the naughty parts underneath can be worked on. There's nice chemistry that builds between them as well as a great animalistic passion from Jamie. They put out some nice energy, and make this a great first scene.

Scene 2 - Charlotte Stokely and James Deen

Charlotte starts out her scene veiled as well, with a few multicolored circles worked into the veil, a black scarf around her neck, fingerless black gloves, and a little old-style lingerie and sexy panties to match. She helps James out of a chair and joins him in running their hands around each other before he strips off her panties and softly kisses her all around. Charlotte works James cock out of his pants and strokes it a little without ever sucking it. This scene was a bit of a roller coaster ride for me. It started out very nice with Charlotte and James' action being cut together with Tall Goddess in a few different black and white outfits, smoking and touching herself. From there, it took a downhill turn with a reverse cowgirl ride that seemed to last forever and no head for James with the camera almost appearing like it was left alone on a tripod. It swung back up as Charlotte started talking about how she wanted James to finish fucking her and cum on her, and James giving her just what she wanted. Charlotte seems to be in control throughout the scene, but James also comes off so willing that the domination aspect is very low. This scene worked to varying degrees for me, but ended on a high hot note.

Scene 3 - Havana Ginger, Somaya, Tyra Banxxx, and Jerry

It also lacked a bit because there was no real interaction between the girls and one always seemed to be left out because of it. This was an average to slightly below average scene.

Scene 4 - Katie Morgan and Randy Spears

As attorney Randy goes over a few numbers for smoking hot Katie, who's in a short fur collared coat, gloves, skirt, fishnets, and large hat enjoying a smoke from a cigarette holder, she gives him a reminder of who does what with his main job being getting her off. This is a fantastic scene, and quite possibly my favorite in the movie. Katie looks like she has several orgasms throughout the scene, and Randy looks like he's giving his all throughout the entire scene. Katie also looks fantastic and puts out some fantastic vocals throughout the scene to the point that Randy's not popping halfway through the scene really shows how great a performer he is. This is a smoking hot scene.

Scene 5 - Jenaveve Jolie, Teanna Kai, and Franco Del Torro

After having a little champagne together, socialite looking Teanna and Jenaveve are joined by a well dressed Franco. Teanna struts around him to check him out first, and then sits back and tells Jenaveve that she wants to see her take on Franco and his big cock while Jenaveve checks him out. This is a pretty hot final scene. Jenaveve and Franco have great chemistry together, and keep things moving nicely. I love how Teanna seems to be the instigator of the action in the scene and the voyeuristic level of having her there. At the same time, it hurts the scene slightly as little due to Teanna and Jenaveve waiting until roughly the second half of the scene to do anything with Teanna seeming like she has to have part of her body touching the chair at all times. The pop also seemed a little off here, as there's an editing cut immediately before it that makes it seem like Franco was having some problems. This is a pretty good final scene that finishes the movie with the same great style it began with.

Two minutes into Clique I was hooked. Lorraine Sisco's artistic eye was completely tuned in here, and the opening black and white footage capturing her from different angles in different outfits combined with the voiceovers seemed like a perfect combination. With the exception of Jerry's interracial scene, that momentum and feeling was never lost. Katie Morgan and Randy Spears easily had the best scene in the movie, but Jamie Huxley's opening scene with Alec Knight is very close behind it. So much of what makes Sisco's work so enjoyable for me is that she isn't out there trying to copy everybody else. While everybody else is going for gonzo sex and seeing how cheap they can do things, Sisco makes it look like no expense is spared in both the sets and the outfits for the cast. She does a nice job giving each scene a little setup, and her solo sequences at the start of each scene are more than welcome with how well she does them. The more unique feeling continues through the style of the movie, as Sisco isn't afraid to have scenes where the women realize the power they have in sex and aren't afraid to use it. This is a very welcome relief from the standard adult film, and one of the things that first attracted me to her work behind the camera. The final thing that sets Sisco apart is her artistic eye. There are very few directors out there who seem to be able to do an artistic style to the video well, and I can't think of another woman who does so. Sisco easily places herself in that qualified number and shows just why she seems perfect for Ninn Worx. All that isn't to say that everything she does is perfect. Her group scenes are a little weak, with Jerry's scene doing nothing for me and Teanna and Jenaveve's feeling a little off with how long it took the girls to get it on. That said, Sisco is still a fairly new director who's shown the ability to surround herself with skilled people she can learn from. Clique is a great artistic fuck flick that shows once again that Lorraine Sisco is a director worth keeping an eye on and one who should fit into Ninn Worx extremely well.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery lasts twelve and a quarter minutes with five seconds per great looking snapshot or full screen photo. There's also a behind the scenes featurette and a bonus scene.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts just under six minutes, and is very nicely presented in anamorphic widescreen. It nicely captures the scenes and still photos being shot with plenty of focus on the lovely Tall Goddess / Lorraine Sisco. It's all presented with a very artistic feel, right down to having music as the only audio for most of the featurette. Not hearing the performers is a very hit or miss thing for me, as it takes away from some of the personality of the performers that can take a good featurette and make it a great one. There is a little audio here as Tall Goddess talks about hair and shaving in the makeup chair while looking a bit tired. In the end, it's a pretty good featurette that gives plenty of hot shots of Tall Goddess along with a little personality.

Bonus Scene - Tall Goddess

Tall Goddess works herself through various stages of undress in a black suit with a white shirt, a black bra and panties, and a black garter belt and stockings. She moves from a hallway to a doorway to a column to a chair in front of a patio door sometimes throwing herself around and sometimes touching herself. After a bit it slows down to concentrate on Tall Goddess as she masturbates by the column in front of the fire place, but it quickly moves back to her between the many locations. This is a very nice bonus scene. It's all too rare to see Tall Goddess in action, especially because she so rarely disappoints. It collects a bit of the footage from the movie, but keeps it all in color and lets it have its own flow. It works well, and did a nice job of helping out the overall DVD for me.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many Ninn Worx DVDs can be found online for between about $15 and $25 with several stores offering them for under $20. If you like things more artistic and with a female domination aspect, this one should be well worth your money. The sex is hot and very well captured. The technical aspects are artistic but show plenty of care, and there's some pretty good effort put into the extras. This is a very nice DVD that's definitely worth checking out.
