Cindy Queen of Hell is a feature adult movie from co-writers and co-directors Joanna Angel and Xander Corvus. Cindy Queen of Hell is an enjoyable plotted comedy and horror hybrid hardcore movie. Joanna Angel and Xander Corvus have put a lot of work into Cindy Queen of Hell and it shows.

In Cindy Queen of Hell on her 21st birthday, while walking through a park on her way home from school, Lucinda (Leigh Raven) — or Cindy as she prefers to go by — witnesses a street preacher (Juanito Blanco) and a couple (Kara Pond and Dnothing) unexpectedly die. After telling her mom Raven (Joanna Angel) about the occurrences, her mom is forced to tell her that 21 years prior, she hooked up with Lucifer (Xander Corvus) — or Lou as he prefers to be called — the lead singer of 9^th Circle and the ruler of Hell and Leviathan (Small Hands). After meeting, Lou tells Cindy that he wants her to take over ruling Hell.

Cindy Queen of Hell works so well because the movie combines a good story, with good attention being paid to the non-sex portions of the movie, with some excellent sex scenes that work in conjunction with the story for an adult production that feels like an adult movie and not a collection of sex scenes. The story, which can best be described as a comedic horror plot, carries the movie well and, for viewers old enough to remember the 1980s, contains a lot of jokes over how overly conservative people talked about the acts depicted in the movie.

The cast in the movie is utterly amazing, with both the sexual material and the non-sexual portions. This reviewer always hates when he hears that adult performers can't act and this is a movie that proves that adult performers are actors and actresses. Everyone in the cast makes their character come alive on the screen. The sex scenes are all knock-outs as well and they stay within the plot lines. For instance, the sex scene with Lucifer, Leviathan, and Raven, where Raven is impregnated by Lucifer, end with a creampie. It is the attention to small details like this that makes Cindy Queen of Hell work so well. The sex scenes in the movie are the longer ones like most modern feature movies contain.

Overall, the technical details in the movie are well done. There is some great stunt work that comes in during the beginning of the movie. The sets and set dressing is well done, each one fitting the situation incredibly well. There are some great special effects makeup utilized in the movie that looks realistic and not fake. The movie is beautifully shot by Mike “Quasarman” Quasar, which should not come as a surprise to viewers familiar with his work.

There are only two real issues with the movie. The first is the green screen work. The movie utilizes green screens to make some of the sets more elaborate than they are. The final result looks good except for some issues with the camera work that makes the stationary set float around while the green screen effect stays stationary. This is most noticeable in the set where the green screen contains a staircase, which stays in one spot while objects around it move. The other issue is the sound during the Halloween party where 9^th Circle plays. The sound was poorly recorded making the dialog and the song — sung by Xander Corvus and Small Hands — hard to understand at times.

While these two technical issues are unfortunate, they don't ruin the movie at all, they just make it feel a little cheaper than it should given the massive amount of attention that went into the production of Cindy Queen of Hell. Fans of hardcore feature adult movies should enjoy this movie and Cindy Queen of Hell is highly recommended.

Burning Angel Entertainment has done a great job with their DVD release of Cindy Queen of Hell. Cindy Queen of Hell was shot digitally and is presented in the anamorphic widescreen aspect ratio of 1.78:1 in 480i. The image quality for the movie is excellent with a clear, crisp, and clean image and beautiful vibrant colors.

Cindy Queen of Hell is presented with an English Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo audio track. The only issue with the audio, which seems to have originated from when the movie was shot, not due to the mastering for this release, is that during the Halloween party scene the audio is poor which makes the dialog hard to understand at times. The audio for the rest of the movie is excellent and the rest of the dialog is clear and easy to understand.

The only extra that Burning Angel Entertainment has included on the release is a photo gallery.

Cindy Queen of Hell is a plotted adult movie from Joanna Angel and Xander Corvus that has a combination of hot sex scenes along with a well-developed story, good production values, and an excellent cast. Cindy Queen of Hell is a comedic horror movie that tells the coming of age story of Lucifer's daughter Cindy. Burning Angel Entertainment has done an excellent job with their DVD release of Cindy Queen of Hell with beautiful video quality and decent audio.
