Initial Expectations: Christoph is at the top of my list of underappreciated directors. I can’t help but go into his movies without high expectations.

Initial Reaction: It isn’t quite as good as a lot of Christoph’s other recent work, but it’s still nice and hot.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are very nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced, right down to the dialogue with Christoph behind the camera. The video is just as good. It’s nicely lit and free of grain, and stays artistic without being pretentious.

Menus: As usual, Evil Angel’s menus show some very nice care. The main menu has a great style and works in a bit of the movie. The chapter menu lets you choose a group of chapters based on a small clip of the scene and the name of the girls in the scene. Finally, the fetish menu lets you jump directly to specific sex acts such as lactating, double penetrations, or cumshots.

The Feature

Christoph Clark starts a new series here with Euro Slit. Things are a little softer than his Hardball series, yet a little harder than his Beautiful Girls series. There’s often a little something to lead into each scene, be it a little talk with Christoph, a hint of a story, or just a long tease.

Scene 1 - Angelina, Kathy Anderson, Frank Gun, and Franco Roccaforte

Angelina and Kathy start things out posing for Frank as he takes pictures, and pausing briefly so flamboyant and effeminate Franco can touch up their makeup. Frank encourages them to give each other a little loving, and when he tries to join in is interrupted by Franco, who scolds him for being unprofessional and then takes Kathy away with him. This is a great scene to start out with, and my favorite in the movie. I love the tease at the beginning, and Franco is absolutely hilarious as the effeminate make-up artist. I like the switch to manliness in the bathroom as well as the energy they start out with. Frank and Angelina work very nice into the scene, and my only complaint is that I really wanted to see Angelina doing a bit more. She seemed a little left out at times, but at the same time Kathy was doing such a bang-up job that I really can’t complain too much. This is a very hot scene and a very nice start to the movie.

Scene 2 - Helen, Greg Centauro, and Jean-Yves LeCastel

Helen, a slightly older looking bottle blonde, starts things out showing off for Christoph on a couch very briefly before she’s joined by Greg. Scene 3 - Lilian, Choky Ice, and Lauro de Giotto

The only problem the tight camera work gave me was times when I glanced away for a moment and then found myself wondering who was fucking her at the time. It’s a minor complaint, and thankfully Lilian did a good enough job that it was an easy complaint to move past. This is a hot scene.

Scene 4 - Silvia Lancome, Yvonne, Greg Centauro, and Richard Langin

Silvia almost seems a little cumshy as well, but that might have been because the scene seemed to end just a little too quickly.

Scene 5 - Ginger Devil, Leona Ricci, Don Mauro, and Greg Centauro

I was also a little disappointed that Leona didn’t take a DP or that the two couples didn’t switch back and forth a bit. Finally, the scene felt like it was cut a little short once again. There’s some nice chemistry here, which takes it a long way, but the scene feels like it’s just a little off.

Euro Slit makes a decent entry for a new Christoph Clark series. I’m sure that many people will love that he’s going back to some good gape focus, and the better news is that he’s keeping the chemistry that’s been running rampant in most of his recent movies pretty much intact here. That said, the scenes here didn’t impress me quite as much. Don’t get me wrong, they’re still very good, but they often seem just a little off. Maybe it’s that the scenes feel like they’re cut off about fifteen seconds too soon or maybe it’s because Christoph seems to have a strong preference for one couple over another in his group scenes. I’m really not sure, but at the end of each scene I was happy with it and at the same time felt just a little something lacking. Heck, it could very well be that I’ve been so impressed with Christoph’s recent work that his new stuff is having a hard time meeting my sky high expectations. Euro Slit is a very good movie with some hot and fresher European talent. There’s a little something missing, but don’t let that hold you back from checking it out.

Currently, most Evil Angel releases can be found online for between $18 and $28 with many stores offering them for around $20. As usual, Christoph gives you your money’s worth. The sex is hot and has nice chemistry, the technical aspects are well done, and the extras show some nice care with an extra scene. The movie lags a hair behind some of Christoph’s other recent work, but this one’s still worth checking out.

Note to Christoph Clark / Evil Angel: As usual, you did a very nice job here. I really wish I could figure out what seemed off about it to me, and hope that it’s just that you’ve been doing such great work so consistently that my expectations just got too high!
