Christina Shine Loves Black Guys Review

During my extensive research of numerous DVD titles to consider adding to my IR porn collection, Christina Shine Loves Black Guys immediately caught my attention when the DVD was first announced for pre-order. I was familiar with Christina's IR scenes for other companies and I also knew she was a director, producer and owner of her own company MixedX which later partnered with adulttime.com (Gamma Entertainment)

The 4 scenes included on this DVD were originally released as webscenes in 2019 for mixedx.com and shot in native 4K resolution. The male talent partnered with Christina Shine for her scenes are: Darrell Deeps, Freddy Gong, Jax Slayher and Joss Lescaf.

On the front cover is Christina Shine and Freddy Gong. The DVD artwork on the disc itself is the same image. The DVD case spine has a topless image of Christina.

This DVD is a pressed disc with a total running time of 2 hours 19 minutes 42 seconds for all 4 scenes.

NTSC 480p (853 x 480 standard definition resolution) at 30 frames per second with a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio.

The audio is Dolby Digital 2.0 48kHz at 192 kbps.

The main DVD menu features the same still of Christina Shine and Freddy Gong from the front cover of the case and disc artwork.

During my research for my DVD collecting I noticed some databases list different scene orderings, likely referenced from specific VOD platforms. Either by order of original webscene release, alphabetical order of the talent's name or order of each scene's production date. In my opinion the DVD ordering is the definitive order so I will always mention the exact scene ordering in all my reviews.

Scene 1. Christina Shine and Jax Slayher

Things get started very fast. After a few minutes of Christina stripping Jax enters frame fully naked and already hard. Christina immediately starts sucking and stroking his big dick showing how eager she is. I like that during sex there was kissing. Many IR produced scenes from other companies will often do their best to edit that footage out for "reasons". There's a variety of positions such as missionary, doggy, cowgirl and reverse cowgirl. Both slow and hardcore. There's also standing sex where Jax lifts Christina up as he pounds her. It's not as common in scenes unless the male performer is physically strong or the female performer is very light. The facial/cum in mouth ending is excellent. Jax Slayher is one of the best performers in the industry but his loads can sometimes be unpredictable. There have been some scenes I've watched of his where the popshot could have been better. I wouldn't be surprised if he's sometimes overworked and having sex multiple times a day on and off camera but for this scene he definitely had a full tank.

Scene 2. Christina Shine and Freddy Gong

The skin contrast between Christina and Freddy is hot, more noticeable than any other scene. There are a variety of sex positions in this scene also but most unique is perhaps a piledriver position with both close-up and wide shots. I also liked when Christina passionately alternates between sucking, stroking and tittyfucking Freddy's dick. Cum in mouth and swallow ending for another good scene.

Scene 3. Christina Shine and Darrell Deeps

This scene stands out from the others for its unique lighting. Christina also wore pasties covering her nipples for about half the scene. While scene 1 and 2 did have intro music it would disappear after a few minutes. Scene 3 has intro music also but background music can be faintly heard throughout however it does fit the mood of the setting. Darrell delivers a very strong cumshot. My only complaint is that cum on ass is my least favorite type of ending. Variety isn't a bad thing but if given a choice I would have liked another facial or maybe a creampie.

Scene 4. Christina Shine and Joss Lescaf

This scene has some plot and acting. Joss is applying to be Christina's new personal assistant but she discovers there are nudes of him online. Rather than go into a generic parody as most companies would, the mood is still playful but professional. Not taking itself too seriously but not completely abandoning the story. In an interview Christina has said that Joss is one of her favorite performers to work with and they have worked together many times. The chemistry seems genuine and there's a satisfying cum on tits ending.

Slideshows lets you pick a photo gallery of beautiful stills for the 4 scenes, each gallery with a running time of 1 minute 14 seconds. The menu's background still of Christina Shine is the same background still for the Chapters menu.

Interestingly there is no Cumshot Recap I've expected on every porn DVD I own so the extras are a bit empty. The Extras section on this DVD are 4 trailers for other DVD titles.

While I understand a parent company wanting to promote other products they own I personally dislike it when the trailers have zero similarity to the product I willingly chose to watch and purchase. Maybe it's asking too much but ideally an interracial DVD of Boy/Girl scenes should have trailers for other IR B/G DVDs. If there are no new or upcoming IR titles, older IR titles are perfectly fine. If I was interested in lesbian porn I wouldn't be watching interracial B/G porn would I? If someone like me who enjoys IR porn with busty women and bought this DVD, wouldn't it make sense to promote other similar IR titles because there's a strong possibility I would be interested in them! Maybe companies lazily assume every viewer likes multiple genres or will accept any recommendation without question. Not a smart way to do business and for me it's extremely ineffective. If it was so easy to accept recommendations I wouldn't have spent countless hours doing my own personal research of which IR titles I might want to buy.

I will also add that including a trailer for trans content on a DVD with cis Boy/Girl content is a questionable decision. Maybe little thought was given by whoever was in charge of making this DVD but in my opinion it was unnecessary. A less forgiving viewer would feel insulted and rightfully be very upset that trans content was included (brief as it is) when the viewer likely had zero desire or interest to ever watch/buy trans content. In a previous review I mentioned that I always watch all areas of my discs to ensure they work properly. So although I personally have no interest in trans content I did reluctantly watch this trailer but I will say it was tastefully done. Storytelling seemed to be the priority so no genitals were shown. My reaction could have been a lot more negative and ruined what was otherwise a very enjoyable DVD release regarding the main content because of a trailer that should not have been included. I would have preferred no trailers regardless of genre if it meant the inclusion of a Cumshot Recap or some BTS footage of Christina.

Despite being in standard definition and DVD compression in general is not very good, I'm happy to report there were no distracting video artifacts on this disc! A rule of thumb should be that DVDs are under 3 hours in running time, ideally 2 hours 40 minutes max. Any more than that and you're pushing your luck. Cramming more footage as many companies do (with 4 hours) will lower the bitrate, increases the odds of a glitch (which they won't care or bother to fix later) and discourage fans from buying official discs if no proper effort is going to be put into them. Blu-ray disc with its superior compression would solve those issues, but if companies are too frugal to support it then at least consider a 2-disc DVD collection. DVDs are dirt cheap to make for goodness sake! The running time for Christina Shine Love Black Guys is below my maximum running time limit so thank you MixedX for using common sense and utilizing disc space properly!

Other than a potential pressed Blu-ray disc upgrade in the future (with MPEG-4 AVC and lossless audio as either LPCM, DTS-HD Master Audio or Dolby TrueHD) this DVD gets top marks for its video and sound quality.

Christina Shine is a sexy, busty woman and in my opinion an underrated performer who should be a lot more popular. It's wonderful she got her own all interracial star showcase DVD and I would definitely purchase a sequel if her remaining IR B/G scenes from mixedx.com are released on DVD in the future. Having not purchased DVDs from MixedX before or read any feedback from any collector who had, I didn't know what to expect. I feared a poorly made DVD-R release but I took a chance and I'm very happy with the results and my purchase.
