Initial Expectations: I always enjoyed Cheyenne Silver before she signed with Vivid, but I haven’t seen any of her work since then. A compilation focusing on her seems like a good place to start.

Audio /Video Quality: Compilations normally have a wide range of technical aspects, so a little range shouldn’t be any surprise here. The audio is pretty clear for the most part, and normally has a nice balance. The video isn’t so consistent. There’s a lot of grain in some of the scenes, and not all of them were shot on film. Some of the video quality is bad enough that I almost skipped through some of the scenes, which is something I try to avoid at all costs.

Music: As usual with compilations, the music varies from scene to scene. It’s no difference here, as there’s a wide variety of styles from scene to scene. The balance is handled pretty well, however, there are a few times when the music is a bit loud.

Disc Problems / Complaints / False Advertising: The DVD stops before and after the eighth chapter according to the chapter menu. You can restart the feature and pick up where you left off using the chapter menu, but you shouldn’t have to. Also, none of the scenes are labeled, and the chapter breaks down always line up with the scenes. Finally, Vivid claims “4 hours of interactive fun”, yet there’s only about three hours and forty five minutes here and none of it is really interactive, unless you count selecting a scene from a chapter menu as interactive. I’ve deducted a half point from the overall rating due to this blatantly false advertising.

Menus: The main menu has a nice bit of animation and gives a very good first impression. The chapter menu looks great and has a nice feel, but unfortunately only lists the chapters by number .

The Feature: I’ll admit right out that although she used to be one of my favorite stars, I’ve never watched anything from Cheyenne Silver since she signed with Vivid. That’s now changing with this DVD, as it seems like a great place to start off seeing if Cheyenne’s talents are being used well or wasted. I’d love to give you telly you which feature these scenes are from, but unfortunately they’re not labeled so I can’t be sure on any of these titles.

Cheyenne starts things out in a scene I think comes from Watcher 16 in what looks like a photo shoot with Pat Myne, Bobby Vitale, and Egypt (I think). The biggest problem is that none of the scenes are labeled with the original feature or the talent in case you want to see more than what you have here. It’s probably my biggest pet peeve when it comes to compilations, as it’s something the people making the compilation should know, and it allows the viewer to see more of what they liked. A compilation in essence is just a huge commercial for other features, and if the viewer doesn’t know what that feature is, they have no way to go out and buy more of the company’s product. It’s really too bad, since there are a couple scenes that were really great and made me want to see the rest of the movie, such as the two scenes I think come from Delusional. Of course there are a couple scenes that feel like they could have been cut, but overall, I’m sure that Cheyenne Silver’s fans will be very happy with this compilation.

Extras: Trailers are included for Cream Cravers, Deep Inside Inari Vachs, Deep Inside Asia Carrera, and So Pretty... as well as web information for the standard extras. There are also six bonus scenes, three featuring anal threesomes and three featuring the Vivid girls.

If you’re a fan of Cheyenne Silver, this one should probably have a place on your shelf. There’s a nice variety of her scenes here, although the technical aspects aren’t always the best in them. There’s also a nice variety of six scenes as bonuses that helps out the overall package.

Note to Vivid: Please kill your “4 Hours of Interactive Fun” claim on your DVDs. Most people would rather know an actual feature running time and they feel ripped off if you’re even short five minutes. Also, “interactive” has taken on a new meaning with many of the interactive sex DVDs, such as the ones you yourself put out, which makes the claim fairly deceptive. Finally, please label the origin of the scenes in your compilations, as well as the performers in each one (the chapter menu is a great place for this, by the way).
