Chained Heroes 2: P.O.W. In Pain Review

I discovered something important about myself watching this one: I’m not much of a sadist. I was interested in watching this since Marcello the guy playing the captured French Foreign legionnaire was a handsome blond with a nice build and had no pubic hair (one of my great turn-ons). Unfortunately it’s nearly sixty minutes into the film before we even see his penis. Until then we see him struggle on the floor in chains, strung up shirtless—first with his hands behind his back where his raised arms put great pressure on the shoulders—and then strung up with his hands above his head so that he can be whipped, punched, pinched, etc. He had a nice torso (his armpits were shaved. In fact there was no hair at all on his body below the eyebrows). He had a piercing in his chin.

He was a great screamer. Jamie Lee Curtis and Fay Wray had nothing on this guy. Often he seemed to show anger, which was quite believable. Indeed he gave a truly excellent performance.
The whipping was much more authentic in this Dutch film than one finds in those downright sissy S & M films we get in this country. His skin flushed red as a result. I did think the part where his back was scrubbed by a stiff brush was a bit fake, and oftentimes one could see his tormentor pulling his punches. (His tormentor was a mature plump fellow in black with a hood and gloves.) I didn’t believe the electric shocker either although the blond reacted realistically to its charge (especially on his testicles).

I got really weary of it all even though he was now naked and his large uncut hairless prick was finally on view and decided to pardon him for the rest of the night especially as I was getting sleepy.

I started up again the next day.

This time I became concerned when a device on his balls actually brought forth blood. His penis was thick and engorged, but the glans never popped from the foreskin. At the film’s conclusion Marcello was still hanging there naked. I wanted to rescue him, take him home and put to bed, and lick his wounds.

When the torturer kept asking his only question, “What is your mission?” and always received the answer, “No mission”. I was reminded of Lawrence Olivier torturing Dustin Hoffman in Marathon Man by drilling into his front teeth and continually asking, “Is it safe?” Now that film made me squirm. Except for when the droplets of blood appeared on his ball sac this film did not. Was it supposed to? Was it supposed to stimulate me sexually? I did admire Marcello’s stamina and courage.

The chapter entry points are well devised and one can enter at any point of the torture turns you on. Previews for other films from the company reveal what was sorely missed here—SEX!

There are persons I would love to string up and torture. But it would not be to excite me sexually. I’d just like the revenge.
Perhaps there is something sadistic in me after all.
