I was really, and I mean REALLY! , looking
forward to this film and unfortunately I was a
bit let down. It’s the story of a young, cute,
innocent guy (played by Johan) who seems to be
struggling with his sexuality until he meets and
is fascinated by a bartender in a local gay bar.
It stars Johan along with 8 other hot Bel Ami
models.
The story begins with Johan walking the streets, checking out guys, and thinking about his desires. The video portion is high in quality but the dialogue of Johan thinking to himself was a bit hard to hear and seemed a little muffled. It then cuts to a beautifully shot scene of Johan taking a shower. The shot was lit in blue and to see the water pour over his slender body was nice.
We next see Johan debating on whether to go into the bar or not and he finally does. He immediately is transfixed upon the bartender- Kristian Jensen-and fantasizes about him. Here we see quick flashes of Johan and Kristian in various staged poses of their nice slender bodies and uncut cocks. A hustler finally picks him up and they go off to eat at a nearby restaurant. Johan eyes the waiter and has lustful thoughts about him, actually just about everyone he sees he has desires for. They leave the restaurant.
The next scene they are shown getting in bed and as with all the scenes it is strictly simulated sex, no erections or anything hardcore. I don’t have a problem with that but instead of the techno music playing in the background it would’ve been a lot hotter dvd if you at least heard them kissing or moaning. All the guys are hot-aren’t all the Bel Ami boys? And the scenes are nicely photographed, guys in alley ways, backrooms of restaurants, in a weight room and the like. At times the editing was fast and the superimposed images combined with the techno music was a bit distracting-almost like an MTV video. One scene towards the end though which I must comment on is when a photographer, Andrej Milic and the hustler are making out in the photographers studio. What sets it apart is they are standing in front of a screen as a slide show of Bel Ami models are being rotated. It was just really hot to see them make out while pictures of hot guys are being displayed all over their naked bodies! Very well done.
Eventually Johan does make it back to the bar and has his fun with the bartender and realizes he has concluded his chain of desire. Overall a nicely done film but could’ve been somewhat better and the complete lack of anything hardcore makes you yearn for more and feels like a bit of a tease. But that's a minor fault, it's still very sensual and erotic.
