Initial Expectations: Skye Blue has been kind of hit or miss for me. I’m not really sure what to expect here.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced, although there are some artistic liberties taken with it. The video is also very nicely done. Once again there are a few artistic liberties taken throughout the movie, but they rarely interfered with the action for me. Most of the video was very clear and nicely lit, and I thought it was one of the best looking and sounding movies I’ve seen from Skye Blue and Bizarre.

Music: The music is very nicely done. It varies in style throughout the movie to help each scene with its mood, and also varies in balance.

Menus: The menus are pretty good. The main menu has a little animation which gives a good first impression. The chapter menu is pretty standard and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene.

The Feature

Skye Blue goes the vignette route for Celestial Desires. The scenes are unrelated other than Bunny Luv, who’s going by the moniker of “Celeste” here, reading sexy stories. Each story makes up a scene, and she diddles herself a little in between as they get her going.

Scene 1 - Rebecca Love and Anthony Hardwood

Anthony starts things out finding busty brunette Rebecca a little love. They work their kisses around, with Anthony giving Rebecca’s gazoomas a little kissing before working his way down south. Rebecca thanks him properly with a little knob gobbling after teasing him, and even throws in some nice titty fucking. Anthony moves on to bone her missionary and doggie style before finally letting him pop on her big fat titties.

This is a pretty hot scene. Rebecca and Anthony have nice chemistry together, and they put in some nice energy as well. Rebecca comes close to overdoing the vocals a couple times, but when I saw the smile on her face continuing into her gorgeous eyes I quickly forgot about it.

Scene 2 - Felecia Fox and Kiki D’Aire

Kiki and Felecia start things off with a little kissing, a little dancing, and a little grinding. Kiki dances around as Felecia works on the platform with a grinder, and then works her way around Felecia orally. Felecia returns the favor, before letting Kiki go back down on her including using a pink dildo. Kiki takes the dildo next, and kicks things up a notch by having Felecia work her over with a double dildo so that she can get DP’ed. Finally, Felecia takes off her top to let Kiki kiss her nipples as the scene fades out.

This is another nicely done scene, and much more artistic than the first scene. Skye plays with the video while limiting the audio to only music, which normally doesn’t work for me. The girls have nice chemistry which carries the scene past the limited audio, and I found myself completely getting into the scene. It even has enough chemistry to feel like things are coming to a close when the camera fades out rather than feeling like there was more to go. This is a nicely artistic scene with some very nice chemistry.

Scene 3 - Chloe Dior and Kurt Lockwood

After they kiss and strip down, Kurt quickly drops to tongue Chloe’s twat and see how much he can spit on it. Chloe returns the favor by giving him some great eyes as she works her way around his crotch getting ready to suck his cock, and lets him shower her with rose petals as she gives him a hummer. Chloe lets Kurt fuck her from behind as well as missionary style before finishing things taking a nice facial and sucking out the last few drops.

This scene didn’t do a lot for me. Once again there’s some decent chemistry, but the scene just seemed to drag for me. I also didn’t care for all of Chloe’s tattoos, which seemed to have multiplied since I last saw her. She’s a cute girl and puts plenty into the scene, but it just didn’t quite work for me.

Scene 4 - Bunny Luv

Finally, Bunny pleases herself while hands grope at her from outside the glass box she’s in. She moves back to a bed to lightly pleasure herself with her fingers. She works herself between the two locations, with the glass box being Bunny’s fantasy, before finally returning to her book and leaving the toys along her unused.

This is another scene that was a bit hit or miss for me. Bunny gets into herself very well, and puts some nice energy into diddling herself without going overboard with the vocals or thrashing around on the bed. The artistic effects interfered with the scene slightly for me, although it is very nicely shot.

Celestial Desires is a very nicely done movie. Skye manages her artistic leanings better here much better than I’ve seen in her other movies, and makes it work even more by having performers who are obviously into each other. Every scene had undeniable chemistry, and even when I couldn’t get into the scenes I could feel something between the performers. This is what made Celestial Desires a winner of a movie for me, because normally the artistic effects completely kill any chemistry between the performers. No, Celestial Desires won’t be for everybody, as I think the artistic effects and softness of many of the scenes will still chase many people away, but it’s still a beautifully shot movie that left me more than pleased.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many Bizarre DVDs can be found online for between $14 and $28 with most stores offering them for over $20. If you want slightly artistic porn, this one’s going to be worth picking up. The sex is hot and nicely varied, and even comes with nicely done technical aspects. The only thing that’s really missing is a little effort for the extras.

Note to Bizarre Video: Please put a little effort into your extras. This disc had plenty of room for you to put a little something extra on it rather than the same old extras that seem to be on at least 95% of your other DVDs.
