Krisztina Bella is the highlight of this edition of Woodman's Casting
series, but there are other delights in store in the usual mix of
interviews, sex scenes and on-set coverage of photo shoots.

The first and arguably greatest delight of all is the utterly delectable,
svelte Hungarian 19-year-old called Henriette (used aliases like
Brenda or Brendy Logan in movies). Little is actually resolved in
the interview, which doesn't even include the usual strip or posing,
as it seems she doesn't even want to do "charme" (i.e. glamour photos,
rather than be glamorous as the subtitles suggest), but one can
simply ponder her natural beauty. She gets prettier as the camera
gets closer and you can better catch the sparkle in her eyes. Is
she better when she smiles or is serious…?
Sorry, dreaming there. The funny thing about the interview is that
there's a phone call mid-way through which supposedly comes from
her mother, who's waiting downstairs. One can only imagine what
mother then makes of her little girl, all dolled up in make-up with
stockings and heels on and no small matter of Richard Lengin's cock
wedged right up her ass. It's a photo shoot for Sex magazine, and
is followed up by another with Brenda in the company of Bettina
for a group scene where the girls are sodomised, double penetrated
and facially showered in sperm by David Perry, Andrew Youngman and
JPX. As usual these clips are about a flavour of the ins and outs
of a pornographic photo shoot rather than serious sex action, but
it does offer the chance to see the sparkling Henriette looking

Backstage/Sex scene: The Collector
Or is it Janet? Or even Martina, as she gives her name? The name
is probably immaterial. This 25-year-old Czech has kind of cute,
kind of plain looks, but she has sweet, almost naïve way about her
in this interview. It seems money is more important than fun, but
to characterise her by this remark would be unfair. However, totting
up her answers, things don't look too promising for a porn career:
doesn't fancy anal or DP, not keen on oral, unsure about girls,
prefers romantic sex…it's not looking very promising. However, despite
acting like she's surprised, she strips off and poses as required,
displaying her slim form, a cute pair of boobs and a small, flat
bum.
Time for some examples of Janet in action during some on-set footage
surrounding the making of a scene for Collector: first, some debate
with Bob Terminator and James Brossman, then a sex scene with the
latter on a windswept hillside where the views are frankly more
interesting than the sex. The problem is the breeze that threatens
to sweep the waif-like Janet away like the droplets of come fired
on her face from Brossman's boner. The sex also includes oral and
brief anal, all done under a lot of instruction from Pierre.

This pretty, slim brunette 22 year old (gives her name as Katalin,
or Cataline as it says on the subtitles) intrigues Pierre in the
casting with her admission that her interest in porn is to do with
curiosity rather than money. When he asks her to strip off and it's
revealed she's on her period, Pierre charmingly quips that it's
better she goes to the bathroom than stains the bed! He's just the
epitome of the touchy-feely new man, don't you think? I find her
manner rather more appealing, as she is quite forthright without
seeming overly forward, expressing twin interests in sex and travel
and telling Pierre, via translator, that her fantasy is to try two
men at once. He laughs, and says she can try it any time. She readily
confirms his suspicion that she dreams of perversions by confessing
an interest in trying watersports. The rest of the conversation
suffers from a lack of proper translation via subtitle, but the
word "chien" does pop up…
A sex scene from Tatiana 2, in a version with Pierre's directions
intact instead of the dubbed sound, provides a chance to see Caroline
in action. Unfortunately, she doesn't look quite so good in period
costume as she plays a brothel Madame entertaining Jean-Yves Le
Castel's officer character. He does look kind of daft in his outfit
too, so she's in good company. Highlights include her very submissively
offering up her rear for Le Castel's hefty tool and then that definite
twinkle in her green eyes is very visible as she awaits the duly-delivered
come load on her face. I fear there's a sad end to Caroline's time
in porn, but as I am not entirely certain, I shall refrain from
speculation but I do believe a grave misfortune happened as a result
of her participation in adult movies.

The interview with this nervous student puts me in mind of the bizarre
notion of wondering just how many of Budapest's primary school children
are now being taught by pretty young teachers who funded their education
by providing Western degenerates like me with smut like this. I
think we should move on. The root of Izabella's nervousness is two-fold
- her aversion to anal sex due to painful past experience, and a
misplaced belief that a pregnancy has spoiled her figure. She's
still dark-eyed, pretty and delightful, though it bothers me some
that the subtitles tell us she was "operated" on in connection to
the pregnancy, which sounds somewhat sinister considering I spot
no Caesarean scar.
Woodman promises he'll take care of making her look gorgeous, and
her progress, as a model is charted through three well-chosen photo
shoot clips. We begin with her as a bunch-haired teen nervously
taking on Julian St Jox at an airfield line with mothballed helicopters,
then see her looking more of a smart, attractive young woman as
she entertains three guys (Perry, Versace and some anodyne youngster)
and then finally looking truly comfortable on camera, joking around
on a trip to the alps with Tania Russof and all the gang in town
before we see Izabella and another young cutie whose name escapes
me in a hotel room sex scene with Perry and Versace. Each clip features
anal and facials, the latter two feature double penetration, but
again it's all for the purpose of stills rather than full-on sex.
Still, it's all good fun and while hardly a conclusive case for
self-improvement through porn performance, it is rather interesting
to see how Izabella grows and gains confidence with each scene.

and initiation: Budapest, February 2000
The great talking point of any edition of Castings is the infamous
initiation scene. I don't want to get into the veracity or otherwise
of these scenes in general, but here we have a girl whose looks
are so young, so serious and so edgy, I find it hard to believe
it's anything other than real nerves that are reflected in her pale
blue eyes. This is Krisztina, now of course a well-known European
star, in her first shaky steps in porn. I must admit there's a certain
steeliness about her, despite her surprisingly plain little-girl
looks free of any make-up, that makes me wonder if her initial reluctance
to play ball with Pierre is just a bargaining tool. It does seem
that money is her main interest and in that regard Pierre is unusually
candid in this interview, seemingly desperate to get her to stay
to be talked into going a hell of a lot further than the soft-core
photos she wants to try. 30 - 40,000 Florins is the going rate for
a soft-core shoot, depending on the girl, but there's no go if she
won't show him her body. Things revert to type and as usual Pierre
says, "We must speak together…" and there's a cut.
After this, she reluctantly removes her clothes (in the bathroom)
and Pierre examines her small boobs and full bum. He makes her wait
while he takes a Polaroid, almost casual in his cruelty as he tells
her that her body is the wrong type for soft core and that she would
be better trying hardcore. And who better to show her the ropes?
If this is all for real, it seems almost unbearable to watch. The
little girl having her hopes dashed by the heartless porn peddler
desperate to get her in the sack? I begin to wish it really is a
total set-up. The sullen look on her face is too much.
So Pierre and his translator set about laying out the reasons why
Krisztina should try this work, and she eventually confesses that
she's a virgin - quelle surprise - saving herself for her boyfriend.
One mention of a trip to Costa Rica and boyfriend is forgotten,
Krisztina's in a towel on the bed, kissing Pierre. Soon his skilful
tongue and fingers have her moaning in a whole other way to her
performances (especially recently). Pierre gives her the first fuck
of her life - believe it or believe it not - in his usual way, from
gentle beginnings to furious crescendos, her sweet little feet waving
helplessly in the air as he takes her strongly. It may not be truly
authentic in totality, but his explosions of lust and her reactions
have their own reality about them that rings true through any surrounding
hype or distractions.
Krisztina is gently coaxed into sucking him off, seemingly to completion
in her mouth, and then there's more fast paced sex with her on top
taking smacks to her rounded rump before Pierre asks if she wants
it in her "popo". She says no, but the next thing we see is Pierre
making her moan and writhe with lubed fingers delving into her anus.
She's then treated to a toe-curling doggy fuck that ends with one
final bout of fearsome fucking before he apparently comes in her
ass. Maybe my imagination is working overtime again, but the gesture
she makes of covering her face as they pant together after bothers
me. He kisses her and asks if it was good and she answers in the
affirmative, but not for the first or last time, I feel as much
unease as arousal about these scenes.
Overall
I have to say it's not just the shorter running time than some editions
that makes Castings 24 perhaps less essential. There is some interesting
material, the best moments being the beauty of Brenda, Izabella's
progress and Caroline's sparking form in the interview, while the
Krisztina finale is a delight, an enigma, a dilemma and quite possibly
an outright fraud all in one. However, my general impression is
that I could have happily missed this one, as there are only sporadic
moments to really get your teeth into.

Comments
As is now usual, Castings 24 opens with an apt warning that some
footage is of low quality, and it's true that the interview scenes
and much of the photo shoot coverage is shot in a very basic style.
The sex scenes are of better quality, but the point is made. The
sound is generally very good, but I have my old quibble about the
patchy translations and subtitling. The usual selection of extras
is of moderate value, with girls' profiles including some of the
featured photo shoots, and production notes being balanced out by
the same old Woodman interview clip and the trailers.
