Without
further ado, let's get straight into this collection of Pierre Woodman's

The interview with this very happy, attractive girl shows some of the
best and worst of the castings format, or more exactly the way they're
translated. Shame I don't understand Russian. What's good about this interview
is that the giggly girl declares she has no complexes, but has to leave
the room to undress (I don't know why - she has a sensational, quite athletic
figure). Then every one of Pierre's near-the-knuckle inquiries is met
with a giggle. But on the other hand, it's frustrating that Victoria's
lengthy response to the idea of girl-girl sex is translated in a single
line for us, and that whatever the sexual fantasies are that make her
eyes sparkle and her cheeks flush are not to be shared with the Private
viewing public. Pah!
Of course, the ironic thing is that we are to be allowed to see Victoria
taking it all ways in the "on location" footage of a photo shoot, which
follows. Sunshine, foaming waves, jagged rocks, and her sparkling smile
are the order of the day as she accommodates two of Pierre's usual desperados.
The erotic value of this fairly basic coverage of the sex is limited as
they're just posing for photos, no matter how rude (and they are, as all
her holes are seen to), so it's just as well we get to see Victoria in
action in a proper sex scene too. It's nice to see, and hear, her enjoying
a proper seeing-to from the same two chaps, her clothes dating the scene
around the same time, even if the sound doesn't quite match the visuals,
the editing is a bit of a hatchet job, there's only one noticeable facial,
and Franck's shirt is a fashion disaster. But apart from all that, it's
all right!

Naturally, whatever he said to persuade her to stay and show her lovely
body happens off-camera, but however it's done and for whatever reasons,
here's Anita showing her tanned little figure while looking like a frightened rabbit.
The interview about her sex life, or lack of it, is slightly troubling,
as she relates with a pleading look in her beautiful eyes that a guy made

Still, while his comments about her skin may be true, they're also quite

Overall
As once more I find I have rambled on at great length about an edition
of this ever-interesting series, I shall keep it brief in conclusion.
Sometimes it's hard to recommend one edition of the series over another,
even the presence of a favoured girl can be a let down as with Anita Dark,
but this is a particularly good one, I feel, thanks to a couple of decent
sex scenes and especially because cover girl Anita is so gorgeous, so
sweet and falls right into Woodman's clutches! Excellent. The usual caveats
apply - modest to poor picture quality, rough shooting, limited appeal
- hence the lower score, but if you know what this series is about, you
may enjoy this while worrying just how moral it all is. Oh, Anita, it
may be wrong but it feels so right!
DVD Comments
As I mentioned, the source footage is very much shot on the hoof, hence
the rough quality, but it's never enough to spoil it, and the actual sex
scenes from Private features are good quality. The sound could be better;
it's sometimes hard to hear, though subtitles for several languages are
supplied, along with different audio tracks too. Extras include a interesting
interview with Pierre (dated July 1997, after shooting the Fugitive) photo
galleries for most girls, cast and production notes, trailers and a DVD-Rom
catalogue and photos section.
