The Short Story

Initial Expectations: I’ve had mixed luck with this type of feature from Sensational. I’m really not sure what to expect.

Initial Reaction: It’s short but enjoyable.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody wanting realistic feeling sex and a fun attitude

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting a long feature or top notch technical aspects

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are okay. Most of Sensational’s movies are done with a halfway amateur feel, which lends some charm to them while having some things which will probably turn a few people off. The audio is nicely balanced, and I didn’t notice many background noises except for a few noises from the camera. There’s a little hiss from the camera, but that was the most annoying thing that I noticed. The video is also pretty good. It has a little grain, and although there are a few shadows, it’s pretty well lit. There’s a bit of camera shake, and you do get to see one of the cameramen in the action at one point. There’s also a few moments which feel like they should have been cut when things aren’t working the best which gives some of the movie a bit of a sloppy and amateurish feel. Of course, being halfway between an amateur and a studio release that kind of fits too even if it doesn’t work the best.

Menus: The menus are pretty average. The main menu includes a bit of the feature and the chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small photo of each scene and a chapter number.

The Feature

Carrie’s boyfriend has gone out of town and left her all alone. She’s a bit pissed with him, so she decides to head into the bedroom to have some fun. Carrie’s a very average looking brunette, looking like what you’d probably find if you randomly took a woman off an street in the country, and tells the camera a little bit about it before she puts on her show on the bed. She even brings the pizza delivery guy into the action after working up an appetite.

Scene 1 - Carrie Ca$h

Carrie starts things out in a little black outfit. She rubs her hands across her body, gently diddling herself while slowly stripping down. She rubs her nub until she works up an appetite, and continues to work on herself while calling the pizza delivery guy.

This is a pretty good scene. Carrie brings a very enjoyable feel to the scene, and her soft southern voice works great for her narration. There’s nothing overly special about it, but the feel of the scene put a smile on my face almost the entire guy.

Scene 2 - Carrie Ca$h and ‘Julio’

After the delivery guy finds Carrie in the bedroom, they talk and play with each other lightly. He moves down to tongue Carrie’s cunt before she suggests they sixty-nine so she can see how his cock tastes. They move on to fuck doggie style, as well as getting it on missionary and cowgirl style. Finally, Carrie takes a small clear pop which takes a lot of work to get out.

This is another nice scene. Carrie and the guy keep a nicely realistic feel going through the scene. There are a few times when it holds the scene back a little, but most of the time it feels fun and works well.

Carrie Ca$h Goes Black is a short but fairly sweet feature. It’s basically one long scene that’s drawn out as far as it can go, but it never feels overly long. Part of this is due to Carrie’s attitude. The solo part is very enjoyable, with Carrie having the attitude that’s attracted me so much to amateur movies. The enjoyable amateur feel continues through the sex, and although there are a few problems where things don’t go right, I always had the feel that Carrie and ‘Julio’ were enjoying themselves. Neither Carrie nor ‘Julio’ are really great looking, but they both look incredibly normal and that’s really nice to see once in a while too. In the end, I couldn’t help but like Carrie Ca$h Goes Black despite it’s short length and a few problems.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Sensational Video’s DVDs can be found online for between $10 and $17. I’d pick this one up if you can find it cheap. It’s an enjoyable feature with okay technical aspects, but there isn’t anything for extras and it’s pretty short.

Note to Sensational Video: I know that this is one of your earlier releases, and it’s great to see how you’re trying to improve from this point.
