Call Me (Wicked) Review

This movie was fun, easy and light and that’s totally okay. Not every porn feature needs to be a groundbreaking masterpiece, sometimes the audience just wants to see competent actors deliver believable performances that make them laugh a little while they watch some steamy sex. Call Me hits all those buttons. This movie is full of Jonathan Morgan’s vintage comedic flair. The opening of Skylar Snow and Dustin Daring’s scene is a perfect example of a Jonathan Morgan gag. Skylar plays it wonderfully with the expressions on her face as the caller’s requests change. The sequence where Mia is learning how to be convincing during phone sex is also brimming with Morgan’s style. The way Casey Calvert and Ariana Marie bounce their dialogue off each other is also very well done and lends a lighthearted feel to the whole moment.

The plot doesn’t offer a whole lot outside of the comedic premise of getting meek-minded Mia to grow into a confident sex siren but as I stated earlier, sometimes the audience doesn’t need much more than that in a porn feature. We get the obligatory predictable moment where the love interest admits his true feelings for the protagonist without much exposition, which leads to sex and a happily every after ending.

The thing that keeps this movie from sliding into the realm of forgettable is the sex. Girl/girl fans should be very happy as there are two pretty good scenes to enjoy. Casey Calvert and Karlee Grey have a nicely passionate scene early on that features a lot of kissing and body worship. There’s a moment where Karlee is on top of Casey and the camera lingers on Karlee’s ass as Casey grabs, squeezes and runs her fingers all over it that is particularly hot. So often I find that g/g scenes neglect this stuff which I think is a mistake. Later in the movie, Casey and Ariana have a go at each other in a nice scene that does a great job of utilizing different positions. I really liked how they started standing and worked their way down to the floor.

The b/g sex is also well done. Skylar Snow looks great in her scene. She’s sexy and energetic and she’s got great tits. This is the first time I’ve ever seen her and I liked what I saw.

But the obvious standout from a sexual point of view is Ariana Marie. This movie basically served as a vehicle to let her shine and she did so. She’s eager to explore lots of positions, she shows herself off well during the action and she’s great at expressing her pleasure on her face. She even shows a willingness to get a little more rough than people might expect from a Wicked film during the blowjob portion of her scene with Frost where he gives her a fairly hard throat pounding. There’s also a moment where she is face down, ass up that looks really great.

Overall this movie is a fun romp that introduced me to a lot of new talent. It’s got solid performances from everyone that needs to deliver them and it offers just enough laughs to make it worth your time which is standard fair for a Jonathan Morgan movie. I viewed this movie on Wicked.com so I was not able to evaluate the extra features.
