Some people may be surprised to see me reviewing a movie from Wicked, who are known for their highly glossy, stylized affairs that stereotypically appeal to couples. Wicked does make a lot of feature films that are heavy on the plot and aesthetic factors. However this is one of a new series of so-called "Wall to Wall Wicked" releases that more closely resemble a typical all-sex movie.

"Caliente" is Latina porn with a number of spicy hotties getting down and dirty. Since this is Wicked, there's no rough sex or degradation here to turn off some viewers. Everything looks simply fabulous; the movie was shot in High Definition and the final product certainly reflects this. It's one of the best-looking porn films I've ever seen; everything is displayed in rich color and sharp detail.

Scene 1: Alexis Amore and a guy

The movie itself is fairly short, about 80 minutes, which leads to some compressed scenes with little filler. Alexis is up first, in what looks like a gang-banger themed scene. She's dressed in a bandana, and tight t-shirt with "Latina" on it. She fucks a guy on a set with a low-rider car and some barking dogs. There's a voice-over proclaiming that Alexis has grown up "in the barrio" and is "tough as nails."

There is music playing during the whole scene and most of the movie which as a gonzo fan I'm not really used to. It becomes a little distracting, frankly. Alexis gives a nice b.j. in front of the shiny car and then gets fucked in doggy against a wall covered in colorful graffiti. The guy wears a condom which I expected in a Wicked movie. This film is all-condom so if that bothers you too much you may want to look elsewhere.

Alexis even does anal and a self-administered DP thanks to a silver vibrator. The highlight of the scene for me was Alexis getting piledriver anal against the floor. She accepts an o.k. cumshot to the tongue to end the rather short vignette.

Scene 2: Exotica and a guy

There's a theme to every scene here; Exotica portrays a Flamenco dancer with a red dress and flower in her hair. Her scene is very reminiscent of the opera "Carmen" with Exotica playing the title role. She is paired with a guy in a Zorro mask and they do a very sensual dance in the shadows, which was shot very well and was a nice tease introduction.

She gives a nicely enthusiastic blowjob to Zorro guy. The scene is kind of mysterious, and everything is smoky and shadowy but still sharp. The sets of the film are also as visually impressive as the picture quality. Exotica gets some vaginal sex in standing doggy, followed by a sub-par facial. The sex here was more stylized than it was passionate.

Scene 3: Shy Love and a guy

Shy Love is playing a secretary or business woman and looks quite fetching in a business suit and glasses. Her scene takes place in a lavish office with luxurious overstuffed leather furniture.

Soon the beautiful Shy is sucking a guy's cock. The blowjobs are not filmed with condoms but everything else is. The male talent returns the favor and licks Shy's box. He bangs her in missionary on the leather couch. Shy also does anal, in reverse cowgirl and doggy, and gets an open-mouth facial. I hope they cleaned up the stray spunk off that nice leather!

Scene 4: Ice La Fox and a guy

Ice La Fox is looking smokin' hot in an all-white outfit on a matching bed. I'm impressed with the sets in this movie which are decidedly high-budget looking. Ice opens wide, revealing her braces, for a hot open-mouth facial shot which drips down her chin.

Scene 5: Jasmine Byrne and a dude

Jasmine is playing a hot little maid, looking cute in a skimpy blue uniform. She does a passionate performance with a guy in a bathroom. Unfortunately the facial is not great because the guy is lying down and not much cum is able to reach Jasmine's face.

Scene 6: Sativa Rose + Jenaveve Jolie and a hungry fellow

Sativa and Jenaveve are trying to tempt the same guy with some spicy dishes. He doesn't seem too interested in the food but rather in their ample assets. For my first foray into a Wicked Pictures title, "Caliente" was pretty damn good. Visually, this is one of the best porn movies I've ever seen. The colors were vibrant, and everything looked fantastic. The sets were eye-catching and aesthetically a treat. The things I didn't like so much were the constant condom use (although this can be forgiven), the average money shots, the voice-overs before the sex scenes, and the music. These are minor complaints, though, and I really think "Caliente" can appeal to a very wide range of porn fan, from couples to hardened raincoaters.
