The Little Details

NOTE: This is an amateur video. Amateur and homemade movies don’t have the budget nor the resources of studio porn, and therefore rarely get close to the same quality technically. I’m rating this DVD on the same scale, but most homemade or amateur features would rarely make it above a 3 on the standard scale I use for studio porn for their technical aspects. The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: As usual with homemade porn, the technical aspects are okay at best. The audio is fairly well balanced through most of the movie, but the opening scene has no audio whatsoever (which is most likely due to the location). The video is presented in the full frame format. The lighting varies from scene to scene due to the locations, and there's a varying amount of grain as well. That said, most of the video is shot from fixed locations which leads to very little shakiness in the presentation.

Watermark Warning: Although the normally don’t bother me much, there is a small and tasteful watermark warning that stays in the lower right corner. This made it very easy to filter out for me, and quite honestly, I didn’t notice it unless I thought about it.

Menus: The menus are pretty simple. The main menu keeps Shot at Home’s usual style with their logo and a photo from the movie. The chapter menu is also simple, and lets you choose where to go in the movie based on six clips from the movie.

Maybe it's the lower lighting or maybe it's due to them getting right to the deed instead of chatting and playing with the camera. Bunny and Jay 1 is an excellent homemade debut release. Bunny starts things off extremely well with her dressing room tease, and keeps it up with the Christmas themed solo scene.
