The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are very well done, but that doesn’t mean everything is crystal clear and bright. Instead, there’s some odd effects done with the sound that make the movie artistic and dark while fitting in with the sex extremely well. The video is much the same way. It’s sometimes clear, but often has a softer feel that’s tempered with filters, different amounts of light, and few effects. There’s even a bit of black and white footage mixed in. This is far from your typical looking movie, and that fits it perfectly.

Music: I don’t know if you’d call all of it music, but there’s additional music-like audio in the background of the movie that comes and goes. It has an eerie feel and definitely helps out the overall feel of the movie.

Menus: The main menu is okay and blends the boxcover with a bit of animation and a little of the movie. The chapter menu is very generic, and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a scene number.

The Feature

Nightmare follows Britney Foster and Aria around a nightmarish dungeon of Sapphic lust. In each cell or room Aria has her ‘toys’ caged or bound waiting for their attention. That’s as close as you’re going to get to a plot here, but there is a bit of tease to lead into each scene.

Scene 1 - Britney Foster, Aria, Alicia Rhodes, Michelle B., Fallon Summers, and Sophia

Britney starts things out checking with Aria to see if she did what she wanted. Aria takes her in to see British tarts Michelle and Fallon in a cell. Michelle is already prepared with a buttplug, and Britney fucks her pussy with another toy while Fallon watches closely. This is a hot and nasty scene just like I hoped for from Britney. The girls all look to be into nasty sex, but I was a little surprised that Fallon didn’t take any anal. Just as noteworthy as the performances by the girls is the camera work and editing. It goes a long way towards giving the scene a nightmare-like feel, and in addition to working a few filters and black and white footage in, there’s some minor effects that really work well for the scene. This is a hot, nasty, and freaky styled scene that worked great for me.

Scene 2 - Tracey Lain, Honey, Aria, and Britney Foster

Britney finds Aria again, who’s sucking on a double dildo and very happy about having a few toys. You quickly learn that she isn’t talking about the kind that come wrapped in plastic and cardboard in the store as she leads Britney to blonde Tracey, who’s done in pink and black with her hands tied to a stockade. This is a fairly hot scene. Although Tracey is hotter than heck, there’s something about Honey that’s never done much for me. She looks better than normal here, and does a better job as well, but I just can’t get into her too much. There’s some enthusiastic dildo action here, and although I got into the action due to the enthusiasm of the girls, it never completely took off for me because it seemed very limited. For a complete one sex act wonder it’s pretty good, but a little more variety would have really helped it out.

Scene 3 - Aria, Britney Foster, Alicia Rhodes, and Sophia

This is another fairly hot scene. There’s great chemistry among the girls, which really drives the scene. The enthusiasm of the girls quickly drew me into the scene, but every time I tried to think about it I was drawn back out because I realized that it was almost identical to the previous scenes. This is a hot scene, but it’s held back by its lack of distinctiveness.

Scene 4 - Aria, Britney Foster, Zara Lewis and Shayna Knight

After Britney leads Aria down a hall by a chain, they find Zara with her hands suspended above her. The admire her tits, let her down, and move her to a table so Aria can eat her pussy while Britney slaps her a bit. This is another decent scene. I like how the scene is broke up a little bit by having Shayna come out from a cage underneath the action, but the rest of the action is just a little too similar to what’s come before. This would be a very hot scene if not for the similarity.

Scene 5 - Aria, Britney Foster, Katrina Kraven, and Sarah Jordan

Aria takes Britney to see Katrina, who’s wearing a hot black and pink bra and panties and locked in a cell. This is a pretty hot scene to finish things with. Sarah takes the anal very well, but seems uncomfortable and a bit lost giving it. I couldn’t help but wonder if this was one of her first times with a girl watching her here. As usual, Katrina is nothing short of amazing. She’s hard and nasty, and takes the anal and ass to mouth with naughty ease. The only thing more amazing than Katrina is that this scene doesn’t contain any missionary action! Although Sarah holds the scene back slightly, Katrina puts out one of the best performances in the movie and helps it to end up pretty hot.

Britney Foster’s Nightmare is a porno that seems to be on two levels. There’s the viewer level and then there’s the reviewer level. On the viewer level, I was really impressed. I was drawn into the scenes very well and thought the scenes were very hot. On the reviewer level, I was much less impressed. Yes there is some very good heat in each scene and the girls look to be into the action very well, but it’s extremely limited. When I looked back at the movie after finishing it, I could only recall two positions in the entire movie, with doggie taking up maybe 30% of the time while missionary dominated at about 70%, and almost all of it was with toys. That said, I’m torn between being impressed and disappointed with Britney Foster behind the camera. While half of me is bored with her because of how limited the action is, the other half of me is impressed because she can make a movie which is that limited in sex acts be that enthralling. There is great chemistry in the scenes, and it is captured and edited extremely well. A lot of credit should also go to Chris Streams, who shot more of the movie. He does a fantastic job with the shots here, and according to Skeeter Kerkove basically saved the day on the shoot. It should come as no surprise that Chris is getting plenty of notice directing his own movies now as well as shooting for others. In the end, I really don’t know what to think about Nightmare. I enjoyed watching it, but I think it’s a little too limited to bear watching too many times.

Currently, many of FusXion’s DVDs can be found online for between about $13 and $25 with several stores offering them for around $17. Unless you’ve seen a lot of Britney’s work before, rent this one first. She seems to have a love-it-or-hate-it reaction from people, which I can really see with this one. There’s some hot sex and the technical aspects are handled very well. Unfortunately, there’s virtually no effort put into the extras. This is a pretty hot movie on a DVD that needs some work overall.
