Initial Expectations: I’m not normally a big fan of black movies, but every now and then one surprises me. I also have a bit of hope here since Smash has been doing a very nice job lately.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are okay. The audio is sometimes a bit hollow and muddy, and also has a bit of a balance problem at times. The video is lit okay, but seems just a touch dark, which seems to bring out a hint of grain at times. This is a pretty average looking and sounding movie.

Music: There’s a bit of fuck music that rests quietly in the background during the opening of the scenes. It seems to fit the black feel of the movie very well.

Borderline False Advertising: The cover states 6 Scenes Over 2 Hours. I suppose some could argue that this means the entire DVD including trailers, but putting the 6 Scenes directly over the Over 2 Hours makes it look like this movie lasts over two hours. It’s fifteen minutes shy of two hours, which means that there’s easily room for one more scene. Although I’m a big fan of what Smash has been doing lately and although I think this is a minor mixup here, I have to be fair and consistent. For that reason, I’m deducting a half point from the overall score.

Menus: As usual, the menus show some nice care. The main menu nicely blends a bit of animation with clips from the movie. The chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene with the name of the performers in the scene. It also gives you a choice between going right to the scene or going to a fetish menu that lets you choose what part of the scene you want to go to.

The Feature

Booty Climax 2 keeps things simple. It collects six unrelated sex scenes which feature black women with great booties. The scenes normally start out with some kind of a tease, and quickly move into the sex.

Scene 1 - Mika Brown and L. T.

The scene has a fairly rough feel to it that didn’t work for me and also held things back a little. This is an okay scene that I just couldn’t get into much.

Scene 2 - Allayah and L. T.

This is a hot and very likeable scene despite a few minor faults.

Scene 3 - Beauty and Erection

This is an above average scene that’s once again held back by what seems to be a lack of experience from Lee G.

Scene 4 - Carmen Hayes and Erection

This isn’t a great scene by any means, but Carmen makes it much more enjoyable than it might have been.

Scene 5 - Lori Alexia and L. T.

This starts out as a pretty good scene. Lori gives some nice vocals and good energy, but there’s something about here that I just didn’t care for. The biggest problem with the scene, however, was the ending. It feels faked and like L. T. and Lori just couldn’t do it for each other. Although this starts out as a pretty good scene, it ends up hovering around the average mark.

Scene 6 - Jazmine and Brian Pumper

Jazmine, who looks to have a little more ethnicity to her, starts things out stripping down to show off a nicely natural body before jumping into a bubble bath. This is a hot scene that ends the movie very well.

Booty Climax 2 is an above average porno. The girls are pretty good looking, and thankfully every one of them has a booty worth mentioning. Heck, some of their booties are good enough that I wouldn’t doubt that certain people could take care of themselves with the pause button as well as the movie. Allayah and Jazmine were easily the best here, but Mika started the movie off at the low point. Although there’s some good chemistry and energy in the scenes, the camera work and editing often didn’t do a lot for me. The camera work often felt a little off, and there were plenty of shadows from poor lighting. The editing also felt a little rough, and gave me the feeling that it didn’t have the footage to piece together a really great scene at times. Booty Climax 2 definitely has the booty, but the quality of the climax isn’t always the best.

Currently, many Smash DVDs can be found online for between $14 and $24 with most stores offering them in the $20 range. I’d aim low or rent this one first. There’s some decent sex and some good looking girls, but it had a cheap feeling that didn’t work too well for me. The technical aspects are fairly average and there’s nothing special in the extras. This is a slightly above average movie on an average DVD.
