Bondage Babes (Adam & Eve) Review

Important Note: In the final scene of this DVD the scene is cut short after just a couple minutes of action despite my counter showing plenty of time left right beforehand. I checked the DVD and it looked fine. I tried viewing the scene from the chapter menu and it did the same thing. This contributes heavily towards the low overall rating, especially considering that the final scene is featured on the box cover.

Bondage Babes is a compilation DVD consisting of scenes from Adam & Eve titles that feature a dominant/submissive relationships. This is more appropriate that calling it a compilation of bondage scenes, because, though there is bondage, in many scenes there is very little actual physical bondage. Each scene has elements that would appeal to the people more D/S fetish oriented, though few will find all of the scenes appealing. Some scenes may be appealing for couples interested in a little more spice, but people heavily into D/S will probably find many of the scenes to be too vanilla. I don’t think many will care for the scene where a guy takes it up the ass with a strap on or the one where a VERY muscular woman Dommes an average guy. On the other hand, people who want to see something more different or extreme may find some good scenes, but may be disappointed when they see that in many scenes the restraints aren’t all that restraining.

Compilation DVDs can be good in and of themselves, but by nature they are also advertisements. This one, despite some good qualities, can only be recommended for a low price because it really feels like an advertisement. The scenes aren’t consistent enough in appeal for me to view it as a good compilation, plus I think some of the scenes may have been edited form the original. For instance, one scene has a guy being restrained, riding cropped, spanked, and flogged, but it all happens with quick cuts before the sex scene.
