I honestly don't know why I have hopes for the Blowjob Fantasies series or any other BJ series now that I think about it.   I've yet to see one that has a majority of hot scenes, and Blowjob Fantasies 17 doesn't buck that trend.  Along with the mediocre blowjobs, we get to hear Frank Thring and other Europeans try to introduce the most of the scenes in gonzo style.   The last thing I want to see in a suck vid is an interview segment -- give me action and lots of it!  The result is a DVD with only 12 blowjobs compared to the standard 15-18. 

I hate to laundry list problems, but this title has a bunch of them.  First, I've always said that if you don't have the body to do porn, you shouldn't be doing porn.  Is this the type of manhood you want to see in your pornography?  Next, the lighting from scene to scene is very inconsistent--fine to notably below average.  Thring also tends to zoom in too much--I love close-ups just like the next guy, but it's ridiculous when the entire screen is filled up by a cock and a partial set of lips.  Musically, the pounding dance music during the sex has to go...it's the modern equivalent to the bow-chick-a-bow-wow porno beat from the old days and doesn't help the scenes at all.

There are a couple of briefly arousing shots and a few good facials, but overall, I can't recommend this DVD.  I like Eurobabes as much as the next guy, but these girls were pretty mechanical in technique and plain in looks.  If you're a fan of Frank Thring's work, you will probably be much more at home with this one.  And if you just want to see some cock sucking for a couple of hours, you may not care about the style or quality.  But as for me, I prefer the old Toxxxic Blowjob Fantasies videos featuring more hummers from stars I can recognize--without the accented English interviews.
