The Movie |
Blood Corrodes Inside: Vanity is an all sex short film from writer and director Akiko Janos. Blood Corrodes Inside: Vanity is a horror based short film that harkens back to the days of adult film loops. Blood Corrodes Inside: Vanity doesn't have any dialog or a plot; instead the short film uses a visual set-up before getting to the sex scene.
However, that is as far as the correlation between Blood Corrodes Inside: Vanity and the loops of days of old go. The set up for the scene is a woman (Edie Sixx) mutilates herself while masturbating. During the short film, the singular cast member gets herself off while slowly cutting into her body.
If one isn't a fan of the combination of sex and gore within the sex scene, Blood Corrodes Inside: Vanity will not be for you. This reviewer loves horror porn, but needs a story within the film to enjoy it; since Blood Corrodes Inside: Vanity doesn't contain a plot, this movie didn't work for this reviewer.
However, this reviewer can very much appreciate that for a fan of the genre, Blood Corrodes Inside: Vanity is very well done. The short film is beautifully shot and has an excellent selection of haunting music that plays during the sex scene. The gore scenes are well done in the short film and look realistic. Edie Sixx does an excellent job with her role especially since she can only convey to the viewer through her body language.
Blood Corrodes Inside: Vanity is a hard film for this reviewer to rate. This reviewer wasn't into the sex once the gore started; this wasn't due to a fault on the side of Akiko Janos or Edie Sixx, just that this reviewer doesn't have a fetish for this kind of sex scene. Technically, the scene was well-done, and viewers who do have a sex and gore fetish should enjoy this short film.

Final Thoughts |
Blood Corrodes Inside: Vanity is an all sex adult short film that unique. Blood Corrodes Inside: Vanity won't be for most viewers. The short film combines sex and gore for one masturbation scene and thus will only appeal to viewers who have a fetish for the mixture. While Blood Corrodes Inside: Vanity was not to this reviewer's tastes, Akiko Janos has done an excellent job with the production and viewers that enjoy this fetish should enjoy the short film.
