Initial Expectations: Kelly Holland has been a little hit or miss behind the camera for me, but with this cast and black leather I can't help but be interested and have a bit of hope.

Initial Reaction: It's the best movie I've seen from Penthouse in quite a while.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced, although the music can be a bit loud at times. The video is nicely presented in anamorphic widescreen. There's a bit of variation to the picture with some areas having a bit of grain and softness while others are very clear which appears completely intentional and helps the artistic feel of the movie.

Music: The music varies in style from a harder rock style to a slower sexy style. It's often a touch on the loud side to start the scenes but then moves back so the performers can be better heard.

Menus: The main menu blends the boxcover with a little minor animation for an okay first impression. The chapter menu shows a touch of care and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and the name(s) of the girl(s) in it.

The Feature

All it would have taken to make the scene seem completely right was for a couple of sentences in the opening to have been changed. This is still a hot scene, but it doesn't quite keep up with some of the others.

Blondes in Black Leather is one of the hottest releases I've seen from Penthouse in a while. The sex all has hot girls, nice chemistry, and a pace that works well. It doesn't ever feel like it's being held back to keep things a little softer, and in fact flirts with a darker feeling in a few places that really worked well for the movie. I think Lexi's scene might have been my favorite here, but Jana and Carli came in at a very close second and there wasn't a single scene that came close to disappointing me. There are some artistic stylings that some people might not care for, but I thought they added to the movie nicely and kept it from turning into just another completely generic fuck flick. The other complaint I can see some having is that not all of the girls are in black leather. They're all in sexy black outfits with a fetishy touch to them, but some appear to be PVC or rubber. That's a fairly minor complaint with how hot the girls look, but still something some people might not care for. Blondes in Black Leather is a hot fuck flick that nicely blends style and sexuality.

The sex is all hot, and the girls look great in their outfits. The technical aspects show some nice care and there's a touch of effort put into the extras. This is a hot DVD that's worth checking out.
