Blacked Raw V46 Review

For the longest time I did not own a single Blacked or Blacked Raw DVD. In past reviews I explained that too often many interracial DVDs I might be interested in buying were ultimately passed on due to me not being interested in all the scenes. If I don't find all the women attractive (big breasts are important) and don't plan to watch all available content on the disc, then it's not good value for my money. It's a controversial opinion given their popularity and success, but in my opinion Blacked and Blacked Raw DVD releases are some of the most notable examples of missing out on my financial support. As well as Vixen Group has done for itself, I believe it has left a lot of money on the table from customers such as myself who won't blindly buy all their products. I've honestly lost count of how many DVDs I could have bought but didn't because someone in charge of making the DVDs decided a scene with a petite small chested girl should be included with 3 scenes of busty women. If you enjoy those scenes, I'm happy you can. I on the other hand would prefer scenes of women with similar figures to be altogether so scenes of less busty performers should have their own separate DVD releases. I understand everyone has different tastes, but if Vixen Group doesn't have faith in those scenes selling well on their own, then why produce those scenes at all?

Assuming their DVDs consistently sell well TPTB probably have no reason to change how they've done things so far, but if Blacked and Blacked Raw ever released new compilation DVDs in the future it would redeem a lot of questionable decisions in the past regarding how scenes were picked for the original DVD releases of many titles because sometimes the scenes seemed randomly chosen. Vixen Group could either do compilation star showcases featuring a specific female performer who has shot at least 4 scenes for blacked.com or blackedraw.com similar to what Dogfart/Blacks On Blondes does for their The Dark Side of DVD releases, or feature a specific male performer who shot with several different girls similar to what True X does for their Tight Fit DVD releases.

Eventually after thorough research of thousands of releases, my IR DVD collection started to grow and I now own a decent amount of Blacked and Blacked Raw DVDs; but still not as many of their products as I could have owned... It all started with Blacked Raw V46 which was my very first Vixen Group DVD purchase and the primary reason is the cover girl. The other 3 women having big boobs too made this an instant buy!

On the front cover is Kenzie Anne and Isiah Maxwell. The same image is on the artwork of the disc itself and on the DVD case spine. Some DVD titles include images of all the girls but more often than not most adult DVD releases have a single cover girl. Unless a studio choses to share the info fans never really know the decision behind how the cover girl is chosen. Is it the most popular performer? Most attractive? A new face? A contract star? Or was the DVD cover promised to a certain performer's agency (this is a real thing that happens) Regardless of how the cover girl decision for Blacked Raw V46 was ultimately made I have zero complaints on the result. Kenzie Anne is gorgeous, was a contract star and was still a newcomer when this DVD was released in 2021. I would have still bought this DVD if one of the other 3 lovely women was the cover girl instead but Kenzie Anne being my favorite girl of the 4 gave me an additional incentive to buy this.

This DVD is a pressed disc with a total running time of 2 hours 32 minutes 32 seconds for all 4 scenes.

NTSC 480i (853 x 480 standard definition resolution) at 30 frames per second with a widescreen aspect ratio. Interestingly there are some black bars on the sides on the DVD that aren't seen in the streams and downloads of the webscenes. I could be mistaken but it would appear a 1.66:1 aspect ratio is used for this DVD release, an aspect ratio that is more common in Europe but unlike a 4:3 (1.33:1) full screen aspect ratio, the black bars aren't as large and noticeable. Most porn DVDs have a 16:9 (1.78:1) aspect ratio so the entire image is filled on a widescreen TV without any black bars.

The audio is Dolby Digital 2.0 48kHz at 192 kbps

Instead of a black DVD case most releases have, this title has a clear DVD case.

During my research for my DVD collecting I noticed some databases list different scene orderings, likely referenced from specific VOD platforms. Either by order of original webscene release, alphabetical order of the talent's name or order of each scene's production date. In my opinion the DVD ordering is the definitive order so I will always mention the exact scene ordering in all my reviews.

Scene 1. Kenzie Anne and Isiah Maxwell

Directed by Derek Dozer this scene was originally released on blackedraw.com in 2021. Compared to blacked.com's more cinematic and glamorous look, blackedraw.com scenes go for a more realistic look and nocturnal setting with themes often involving hookups, cheating and cuckolding. Less educated viewers at a glance might assume the lighting in all blackedraw.com scenes should be better but I'm in the camp who thinks it's fine as it is. Too many bright lights defeats the purpose of these scenes selling the fantasy of happening late at night and anyone who has ever been on a film set knows that lights can get really hot and talent don't need to be sweating more than they already are from actual physical activity. Having to re-do the girl's make-up is ideally avoided if possible as it halts filming and can disrupt a good mood that was established. First thing to like about this scene; there's lots of kissing and Kenzie gets fucked while still half-dressed before all her clothes are finally taken off. Excellent chemistry between the two. Isiah is one of the most prolific and hardworking performers in the industry today (probably too overworked sometimes yet brings his best every time) and has fucked countless beautiful women but IMO Kenzie's a lot hotter than most of them and I don't think he took the opportunity to fuck her for granted. There's some fantastic rough deepthroating attempts and Kenzie does her best to fit as much as Isiah's dick as she can but he is very long. Kenzie does squirt in this scene and she's said that her orgasms aren't fake and I think they do look genuine. She honestly really enjoys sex and when she giggles or laughs it's because she really is having so much fun instead of yelling or moaning non-stop like many girls do who aren't authentic and are only playing it up for the scene. Another great thing about this scene is the legit creampie. Viewers who actually pay attention may have noticed Vixen Group sometimes uses fake cum for their creampies; but not here. Isiah has been reliable for a large cumshot and the load he drops in Kenzie's pussy is outstanding. Kenzie's pussy must feel amazing because even after cumming Isiah continues to fuck her again while he's still hard before Kenzie finally cleans him up and worships his dick that gave her so much pleasure. Kenzie and Isiah have gone on to work together several more times for other studios so if blackedraw.com was their first time together it clearly was a very memorable experience for both performers. As I write this Kenzie Anne has appeared on blackedraw.com twice and blacked.com twice. Most of those scenes were shot when she was a contract star but I hope TPTB at Vixen Group will consider giving her an original IR-only star showcase in the future either for blacked.com or blackedraw.com as I'm not interested in a vixen.com or tushy.com showcase unless all the male talent for her scenes would be black. Kenzie has the look, genuinely enjoys IR, has an ever growing fanbase for her IR content and the IR showcase could include some firsts like her first IR anal (already did her first anal for Vixen Group's tushy.com) and her gangbang (maybe first DP too!) I'd still buy a IR compilation DVD featuring Kenzie Anne if she's brought back a few more times in the future. I usually don't like double dipping on content I already have but this scene is one of my top favorite blackedraw.com scenes so I have no complaints watching it again on another DVD release. Kenzie hasn't been in the industry that long but she's already my second favorite performer ever (if you've read my other reviews you should know who my #1 top favorite girl is) I hope Kenzie Anne has a long and productive career for many more years and continues to shoot many more amazing IR scenes.

Scene 2. Lauren Phillips and Sly Diggler

Directed by Derek Dozer this scene was originally released on blackedraw.com in 2021. Sly Diggler has one of the largest dicks in the industry so if you like size you will probably really enjoy this scene. Lauren has done many IR scenes before but it's always good to see her paired with black guys she hasn't fucked before. You also don't see many busty redhead women in the industry as blondes are usually the vast majority of the talent pool. This scene also stands out from the rest on the DVD for having anal sex and ass to mouth action.

Scene 3. Holly Hotwife and Pressure

Directed by Derek Dozer this scene was originally released on blackedraw.com in 2020. Holly Hotwife as her name implies is an active participant in a certain lifestyle. Before her debut for blackedraw.com Holly was already well known and a fan favorite among viewers of amateur porn. There's a lot to like about this scene. Several moments of 69, very deep penetration and good energy from both performers. I'd like to see Holly do more IR scenes for studios once in a while.

Scene 4. Isabelle Deltore and Darrell Deeps

Directed by Alex Eikster this scene was originally released on blackedraw.com in 2020. For those unaware, Isabelle previously worked as a prison officer before changing careers and I'm certainly thankful she did. As far as I know this scene was her IR debut and I thought it was a very good scene. Darrell is a reliable performer and being paired with an established pro for your first scene of anything is good to have. There's a lot of blowjob action, hair pulling during doggy, rough missionary (with squirting) and a great cumshot that sprays everywhere (face, mouth and tits). I would definitely like to see Isabelle shoot more interracial scenes for studios.

Despite being in standard definition and DVD compression in general is not very good, I'm happy to report there were no distracting video artifacts on this disc! A rule of thumb should be that DVDs are under 3 hours in running time, ideally 2 hours 40 minutes max. Any more than that and you're pushing your luck. Cramming more footage as many companies do (with 4 hours) will lower the bitrate, increases the odds of a glitch (which they won't care or bother to fix later) and discourage fans from buying official discs if no proper effort is going to be put into them. Blu-ray disc with its superior compression would solve those issues, but if companies are too frugal to support it then at least consider a 2-disc DVD collection. DVDs are dirt cheap to make for goodness sake! The running time for Blacked Raw V46 is below my maximum running time range so thank you Blacked Raw for using common sense and utilizing disc space properly!

Other than a potential pressed Blu-ray disc upgrade in the future (with MPEG-4 AVC and lossless audio as either LPCM, DTS-HD Master Audio or Dolby TrueHD) this DVD gets good marks for its video and sound quality.

Blacked Raw V46 did what no Blacked Raw release or any Vixen Group title that came before it managed to do, and finally convinced me to buy my first DVD of their content. It's not that difficult and I'm not asking for the sun and moon. Put more thought into the scenes selected for DVD releases. All scenes of hot girls with big boobs = I will buy it. Mix and match scenes of small boob girls with busty girls = no thank you.
