Initial Expectations: I haven’t seen much from Bobby Manila, but Smash has been showing a very nice eye for talent lately. I’d be looking forward to this one even if it weren’t a cream pie movie!

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nicely done. The audio is clear and nicely balanced for the most part, although it is a little off in the first scene. The video is nicely done. It’s very well lit and barely has any grain. There’s some fast pans and zooms, but they come off as intentional rather than sloppy.

Music: Egyptian Lover provides the music, which is normally nicely done. It varies a little throughout the movie, and varies a bit in balance as well. It goes from nicely resting in the background to covering up the audio.

Menus: The main menu works a little animation together with a still from the boxcover for a decent first impression. The chapter menu nicely lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and the name of the girl in the scene. There’s also a position menu that lets you go to specific sex acts.

Scene 1 - Jenna Brooks and Derrick Pierce

Finally, with an editing cut directly before the cream pie, I couldn’t help but doubt it. This is an above average scene, and I couldn’t help but wonder what Arial could have done with a different partner.

Black Pie for the White Guy is a pretty good cream pie movie. Bobby Manila has a different style of camera work, and there were times I found the fast zooms and pans to focus on the penetration a nice difference and others when it annoyed the heck out of me. He does put together a pretty good cast, and gets a nice variety of sex scenes with some good cream pie finishes. Unfortunately, the sex scenes often start off a little limited with the same tease normally working to a blowjob and then missionary with the girls never getting any real oral in return. Jenna Brooks definitely had the best scene for me, with Shi following pretty closely behind. Both girls had great chemistry with their partners and made their entire scenes a lot of fun to watch. On the other end was Dena Caly’s scene not working at all for me due to the camera work and her partners. Beauty and Arial come out somewhere in between, with Beauty easily coming in for the better half of the movie. As for the cream pies, those ran the full gambit as well. Dena’s double cream pie was easily the best in the movie, while Arial’s left me wondering if it was real or not due to how it was handled and its look. Shi and Jenna took a nice pair, but were held back by their partner pulling out and popping half the load around their pussy. There isn’t one scene that I’d call completely satisfying in the entire movie.

All that said, Black Pie for the White Guy is a movie where most anybody wanting cream pies with white guys fucking black chicks should be able to find something they like. The problem with that is that with things all over the place I found myself pulled into one scene and then thrown out of the next scene or two. Yes, I loved 98.4% of Jenna Brooks’ scene and will definitely be looking for more of her, but the next scene worked so poorly for me that I had to quit watching the movie for the night because I knew that it would interfere with the rest of the movie too much for me. Bobby Manila’s camera work also left me with mixed feelings, and it all came together to make Black Pie for the White Guy a better than average interracial cream pie movie, but one that’s far from greatness.

Currently, many Smash DVDs can be found online for between $14 and $24 with most stores offering them in the $20 range. I’d aim low on this one. The sex is all over the place, including the cream pies. The technical aspects are pretty good, and the behind the scenes featurette really helps out the extras. This is a pretty good DVD.

Note to Smash: A few of the scenes make it easy to see why you brought Bobby Manila on board. I hope you can polish it up a bit for his future releases.
