| Prologue I find it mildly surprising that Alexander DeVoe has dived into the wm/bf pool. Granted he features black women in most of his videos, but his audience is overwhelmingly black male. That is not the audience that this series is mainly aimed at. Maybe he got tired of being called underrated by people who are simply unaware of his standing in the industry because they voluntarily segregate themselves. Further, a director's most important relationships are with his male performers. The cupcakes cum and go, but the men remain, and the reliable ones are the foundation to his production. For this series DeVoe would likely have had to rely on other's opinions and recommendations primarily. I think the first volume, with the exception of Mark Davis, could have been a Jules Jordan cast. But I like the idea that he's doing this, and from the look of this cast of women, Alex is covering his bets with some of the finest in all the land. Marie Luv and Sydnee Capri are more than enough to suck me in. Adding Jazmine Cashmere, Jada Fire, Melrose Foxxx, and Candice Nicole is like throwing gasoline on hot coals. First, my opinion that Marie's second scene was something of a bonus wasn't that far off. | Recommendation Normally I just voice an opinion about whether consumers should buy, rent, or pass a DVD by. This time I'm going to address the professed lovers of this genre. This is one of my favorite porn categories, and would seem to be underserved by most accounts. Black Ass Master is a quality production, populated by some of the best talent the industry has to offer, and presented in a first rate package, shot beautifully. If this series is to continue, and others to emerge in the same genre, it's going to have to show well in the marketplace. So, for the people who feel that they're being shortchanged, I say put your money where your mouths are and pony up for this. |
