Audio /Video Quality:
The technical aspects are good. The audio is clear and I didn't notice any background noises. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks pretty good. It's clear with a steady hand on the camera, but the lighting seems to be a little on the low side of natural. It's not bad, but with an all black movie it does make some of the details harder to see.
The Movie:

The Black Archangels isn't a bad release, but it also didn't come close to my expectations with MimeFreak and ArchAngel's track record. There's a good selection of babes and action, but the results are definitely mixed. Mya and L.T. give the movie a pretty good start. Mya takes it up the ass well, but for what the cover advertises as a “Hard Anal Scene”, I expected it to be more than just one position and then back to vag. At the same time, there were a lot of editing cuts to the scene (especially early on) that held back the flow of the scene quite a bit for me and didn't do anything to help the chemistry. Back on the positive side of things, they do finish the scene with a great facial, with L.T. delivering a great pop that Mya takes extremely well. Zoey and Sean turn out a pretty average scene, which I can't help but think of as a disappointment. The chemistry just seems a little off between them and with the editing cut right before the cream pie and how quick the camera moved away from it I couldn't help but highly doubt that it was a real cream pie. Sarah easily turns out the best tease in the movie, and the shots of her ass up in the air in her panties as she looks at the camera is a true thing of beauty. She turns out plenty of solid anal action to Rico, along with showing off some great sword swallowing skills, and I love the banter between them and all their dirty talk. Finally there's Chanell and Isiah, who easily turned out my favorite scene in the movie. There's plenty of smiles, great chemistry, a solid facial complete with a bit of a dirty look when Isiah almost blasts her in the eye, and an overall great flow to the entire scene that really made it a winner for me. Overall, The Black Archangels has enough going for it to be solidly above average, but it had a hard time making it much beyond that for me. There's some good things here, but just as much holding it back and the number of editing cuts were more than noticeable and definitely didn't give the action a smooth flow. The Black Archangels ends up a decent rental that should just be a speedbump in the road with how solid MimeFreak and ArchAngel normally are.

The photo gallery lasts a little under two and a half minutes. There's also a behind the scenes featurette, trailers, and cumshot recaps.
The behind the scenes featurette lasts just over fifteen minutes. This is a nice behind the scenes featurette, which is nothing new with Mimefreak. There's plenty of personality here and the girls come off as natural without holding much back. This is a very nice addition to the overall release.
