Birthday Blackmail Review

We open on Katrina walking up to the door to ring the bell while holding a plate full of birthday cupcakes. Emma greets Katrina in shorts and and a t-shirt. She thanks Katrina for the gift but despite it being a milestone 21st Emma doesn’t seem too receptive to a party.

Emma thinks that maybe it would be best if Katrina left now. She watches hesitantly as Katrina makes herself comfy on the couch. Apparently Emma’s parents aren’t home and hardly ever are. They mostly leave Emma alone there. Katrina says that must be cool - and Emma says it’s a life that her fiancé wants for her too, flying around the country and living fast . This comes as a surprise to Katrina who thought that Emma’s greatest ambition was to be a vet. Emma shrugs this off and tries to say she’s different now.

Katrina doesn’t want to listen to this and leaves , coming back with candles lit on the cupcakes. She sings Happy Birthday to her bestie. She intends to tell Emma how she really feels and gets her to make a wish and blow out her cupcakes. Katrina attempts to kiss Emma here and Emma pulls away with a sigh. Emma wants to explain that she feels bad for leading Katrina on - and calls the whole thing a mistake.

Katrina says that she never got to let Emma know how much she loved her before Emma got together with her fiancé. Emma says she’s not the type of girl who breaks a promise. But Katrina cuts her off and reminds her that she once promised to run away with Katrina. Emma says they did run away.. and hid out in Katrina’s treehouse for two whole days. Emma says they were just kids then . Katrina is quick to remind Emma how wonderful those days were. They were each other’s first kiss and first crush and it still means something.

Emma can’t help but smile, but she says that what happened last week was a mistake. Katrina says that she’s wrong. Last week was the real her as she takes her love by the hand and assures her that breaking her engagement won’t make her a bad person. Katrina says that Emma deserves to live for herself and nobody else.

Katrina swears that if given the chance she’ll devote her whole life to Emma’s happiness. Convinced she’s given it her best shot , Katrina says that all she wants is for Emma to have a happy birthday, even if it’s not with her. She says that she hopes Emma’s wish comes true. Katrina stands to leave and Emma won’t let go of her hand.

Emma stands and whispers kiss me to Katrina who is happy to oblige. They kiss hard and Emma admits she’s scared. Katrina is there to reassure her again and promises to make her feel good. Their shirts come off mid makeout and Emma pulls Katrina’s bra down to kiss and suck her tits. Katrina follows with similar attention. The close of ups of this are very hot.

Emma pulls away again for a moment of hesitation and says she’s getting married next month. Katrina wants to know Emma won’t back out again like last weekend. Even when Emma says that she’ll never go back to her guy - Katrina reaches fit her phone and shows Emma a video she made of her fucking Emma’s fiancé!

Katrina says not to be upset, this video is just for insurance. If Emma ever leaves her for the man again all his contacts will see the video. Clearly Emma is hurt by the shock of the video and she says that she thinks it’s better if Katrina leaves now. This time Katrina refuses and she wants Emma to see more of the video. Specifically where the ex says that he never loved Emma anyway.

Emma is pissed but it only turns Katrina on more and she kisses Emma harder on the mouth. Emma can’t help but kiss her back they stare at each other intensely as Emma is laid down on the couch and eaten out by Katrina who favors a clit kissing style. She wants Emma to tell her that she loved the as she nibbles and sucks her sex. I could have done with more close ups of the licking here but I did like the angles that showed the determined look in Katrina’s gaze as she went down on her lover. Katrina increases her licking speed toward finishing Emma off.

Emma says it’s Katrina’s turn now and gets her to lay down on the other end of the couch. Katrina wants Emma to say she’ll never leave her and gets it. She demands more trust and has Emma hang her the engagement ring she was wearing. Katrina doesn’t blink as she puts in her mouth and seems to swallow it down! Emma is shocked and lets out an exasperated breath before she dives face first into Katrina’s pussy. The camera is looking right at Emma’s face , over Katrina and we get a good view of some full lapping tongue strokes. Emma goes up and down with her tongue before shaking her head for extra friction. Using fast flicks and attention to the clit she brings Katrina to climax.

Katrina sits up and Emma tells her she’s dangerous prior to them setting up a laydown scissor trib that picks up speed quickly. This is definitely what I would call a sprint of a grind. It means what is sacrificed in length is made up for in intensity. The babes slam together eyes locked and share a last mutual orgasm.

Emma sits up out of breath and wants Katrina to delete the tape. She asks how she’s supposed to love someone if she’s not sure she has her trust. Katrina considers this for a second. She isn’t going to give in and says welcome to my world as the scene fades out.

This was really well done! I know I am always about longer runtimes and lots and lots of extended sex segments ; but what was accomplished here with just over 20 minutes was truly impressive for someone who wants context and story.

I did like the sex here , particularly the pussy eating from Emma on Katrina - but the deep characterization and backstory that was built was the real selling point for me.

The sort of sweet beginnings of unrequited love that was conveyed with a sweetness by the two ( and culminates in the hard kiss of Emma deciding to give in to lust ) turns suddenly to darker truths when Katrina reveals her video.

Obviously the scene being called Birthday Blackmail did give part of the skillfully executed twist away , but it’s hard to fault that too much. I do think that in later scenes AHL has been more ambiguous in titles, maybe out of these considerations.

I also liked that those story beats which initiated each of the returns to kissing or sex all felt propulsive in a way that fueled the intensity of the action. Wether it’s Emma pulling Katrina back from leaving , Katrina telling Emma how sexy she is when she’s mad , or Emma being surprised when Katrina swallowed her engagement ring and attacking with her tongue it all captured a real feeling of urgency.

Even for a short scene this felt packed with intention and for me there are few higher compliments I can give. It’s economical storytelling that worked great.

That’s not to say I wouldn’t love for this plot and relationship to be expanded on in more scenes. I know these two have a good series of scenes together at AHL and I’m now stoked to review those too, even knowing that they aren’t connected by plot. Still, as I often say , when I like a story in porn I will mentally plot out sequels even before I’m finished with a review and this one makes me want to do that so much.

I would love to see a scene where the two are married - maybe one year later , or on Katrina’s birthday since she now seems to hold the power. After that a third part could show Emma rebelling in some way ( perhaps using another woman to excite and enrage Katrina ) before reconciling in a some way that shows the third girl to just be a pawn in their twisted love. I mean I could go on...

Overall this was great stuff and solid emotional performances from both stars. A ton of fun to watch and even more fun to dissect and think about. Love it.

Final Thoughts and Suggestions : This is a great example of All Her Luv and the unique perspective they bring to the g/g market. This might even be thought of as porn that showcases story first as opposed even some feature studios that are known to give a decent mix of plot and sex. That doesn’t mean the explicit sex isn’t important - but I could easily watch this for the plot turns and still get plenty out of the experience. I’m thrilled to finally be reviewing AHL scenes. As I mentioned in the ‘ Domestic Violets ‘ wrap up I will be including something extra when I finish all the scenes associated with a given pairing. ( there are four total in this case with Katrina & Emma ) so whenever I review them all I will likely give a cumulative score and come up with a special pitch to go with it.
