The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are very nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced, and I don't think I noticed a single background noise. The level does occasionally drop down a few levels for a moment and then come back to where it was a few times in the movie, but that's a minor problem with appears to be fixed on Elegant Angel's current DVDs. The video is presented in the full frame ratio, and looks very nice. The camera work is smooth and the picture is well lit and free of grain.

Music: Each scene starts out with music as the only audio for the tease portion. It has an electronic feel and works well for the movie.

False Advertising: The boxcover lists a behind the scenes featurette among the extras that doesn't appear here. This is very rare for Elegant Angel and something I can easily chalk up to being an honest mistake. That said, in the interest of fairness I'm deducting a half point from the overall score.

Menus: The main menu nicely works together a touch of animation with the boxcover and a clip of the action. The chapter menu shows some nice care by letting you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and the name of the big assed girl in it.

The Feature

The Big Wet Asses series keeps things pretty simple. Start things out letting the girls dance around to show off and then put them in a room to get it on with a guy. Yes, it's a fairly simple idea, but William H. adds plenty of style with a great focus on ass.

Scene 1 – Sandra Romain and Mark Ashley

The butt tease nicely starts off each scene, and the scene keeps a very nice butt focus without feeling like it's ignoring the rest of the girl. There's plenty of anal throughout the movie, but it never feels like it's limited to the ass with how the guys mix things up. In fact, it's the guys that help make this release as impressive as it is. Yes, the girls are fantastic and do a great job fucking, but the guys take them up another notch. Mark and Mick both seem to realize that the girls are the real draw here, and even more seem to realize that the more they make the girls enjoy themselves the better the movie will be. That's a very rare feeling in porn, and a big part of why Chelsea and Buster's scene came out feeling a bit off and was the weakest scene in the movie for me with Buster mouthing off as he did. I think Sandra might have put out my favorite scene, but out of Mick and Mark's scene there isn't a single one that even drops down to the “very good” level. Big Wet Asses 8 is great fuck flick that once again shows that William H. is one of the best directors out there that doesn't get the attention he deserves.

The sex is hot, the technical aspects are nicely done, and there's a bit of effort put into the extras (even if it's not as much as the cover advertises). This is a hot and very nicely done DVD.

Note to Elegant Angel: You know, I really hate the little screwups like you have on the cover here so I have to penalize movies this good with DVDs that have been showing such great care!
