Initial Expectations: This series has really grown on me, and I now look forward to each of Omar’s features.

Initial Reaction: It’s another fun installment to the series.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody who wants fun porn with fresh faces

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants a heavy anal emphasis or nastier sex

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty standard for gonzo porn. The audio is pretty good, but does have problems with the balance now and then. The video has some very slight grain and is normally well lit, but frequently has soft focus problems and shakes.

Disc Problems: The description on the back cover seems to be from a different movie since none of the names (outside of Omar and Burt’s of course) match anything with this feature. It’s a very sloppy mistake and one that hopefully won’t occur that often.

Menus: The menus are the standard VCA menus that I’ve often complained about. The main menu has the same style as three quarters of the other VCA titles out there. Thankfully VCA is moving away from this practice, but I still hate to see it. The chapter menu is also done like most of VCA’s other menus, but this one they did right. Each selection has the name of the girls in the scene and a small clip from the scene. It’s a great way to do a chapter menu, and I’m surprised more studios haven’t followed VCA’s example here and listed what most viewers really want to know about the scenes on the chapter menu.

The Feature: This time around Omar’s planning on doing a little traveling. As he’s trying to find somebody before going to the airport, he meets his mate Tony who tells Omar he has a time machine. Since Tony doesn’t look anything like Guy Pierce nobody believes him until he takes Omar back for a trip to a 17th century French whorehouse.

Omar first wanders in a room with Free, an okay looking brunette, and Chloe, a slightly below average looking bleached blonde. Not surprisingly both girls are very happy to see Omar and invite him over to the bed they were sharing. They team up to suck Omar’s cock, and afterwards Chloe gets behind Omar to kiss him and guide him as he thrusts into Free’s bald beaver. Chloe also spanks Omar as he pumps Free before he has her hop on Free’s face so she can suck his cock every now and then while having her pussy eaten. Omar and Burt stumble across Delphine and Michelle next, both of whom are average looking bleached blondes. Michelle doesn’t appear to be doing as she should, so Delphine gives her a bit of a spanking as well as using her tongue to show her what good girls can get as Michelle is bent over a table. Delphine also teases Michelle with a candlestick before getting on the table herself to have Michelle show her what she’s learned. The scene ends very abruptly there, which really brought down the scene for me. There was some nice heat and nice potential for the scene, but ultimately it ends up unfulfilling. The candlestick is never really used but often in view, and the scene feels like it’s cut off with several minutes left to go.

Omar’s buddy Tony, a good looking white guy, finds himself with Leah, a nice looking dirty blonde with small saggy breasts, in the next scene. Leah starts out gobblin’ his knob before he rubs her nub with his fingers and tongue and moves into some energetic sixty-nining. It doesn’t last too long before Leah’s bouncing up and down on the guy’s cock, and she seems very into it as she’s worked through most of the common positions. He finally pulls out and decorates Leah’s bald beaver to finish things off as well as giving it another couple pokes. It’s a hot scene with the typical nice chemistry and energy of the feature. Omar also adds some nice humor to the scene by popping in now and then doing things like wearing Leah’s panties on his head and silently encouraging his mate as Leah bounces up and down on his cock.

Finally, Omar and his mate hook up with Hannah, another average looking dirty blonde who tells them it takes 50 franc in her bank cuz she gets paid to do the wild thing. No Holes Barred is typical Big Omar, which is a good thing. Big Omar’s features aren’t perfect, but they’ve really grown on me and have become something I really look forward to each time. The girls aren’t the best looking, but they have a reality about them that makes them refreshing as well as nicely natural bodies. Just as refreshing is Omar’s enthusiasm for the scenes. It’s obvious he’s having a lot of fun, as are the rest of the cast, and it carries his movies far above what they could have been with the porn studs you’ve seen in almost every other feature out there. It’s rare to not see people smiling in the scenes, and Omar also gives the camera plenty of other looks, thumbs ups, and other gestures. The style is also a bit different, and blends amateur gonzo porn with a little plot and a fun attitude that fits Omar’s style. My only real complaint about the feature is that of the title. No Holes Barred sounds like a heavy anal feature, yet only two of the four scenes have anal. Despite this, No Holes Barred is a fun porno with new faces that’s definitely worth checking out.

Extras: The photo gallery lasts about two and a quarter minutes with about seven seconds per nice looking full screen photo. Overall: Currently, most of the Big Omar movies can be found online for between $20 and $25. This seems a bit high for what you get here since there aren’t really any extras, but it definitely deserves a rental. The transfer is still decent, and the sex is every bit as hot and fun as most of the rest of Omar’s scenes. If you’ve seen any of Omar’s other series and been very happy with it, you won’t be disappointed here.

Note to VCA: Please pay a bit more attention to your boxcovers, as the mistake on this one is sloppy enough to make you not look too good. Also, it would be nice to see the guys get credited as well as the ladies.
