The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are just as good as one would expect from Evil Angel. The audio is clear and nicely balanced with barley anything to hold it back. The video is presented in the full frame format, and is nicely clear. There's a touch of motion, as one would expect from a handheld movie, but nothing that really interferes with the action.

Music: There's a bit of music to start off each scene. It normally dominates the audio with a good beat and then disappears as the sex starts.

Menus: The main menu is fun with a nice little bit of animation and a clip of the action. The chapter menu also shows some nice care, and lets you choose between two spots for each girl based on her name and a clip of her scene.

The Feature

The Bet Your Ass series keeps things simple. Each scene starts out with a bit of tease and masturbation until the guy arrives. The guy often helps his partner warm up her ass, and isn't threatened by any kind of toy she might be using. As soon as they're ready, they get on with the fucking and make sure to mix in plenty of anal before going with a facial finish.

Scene 1 – Arcadia Davida and Mark Ashley

The scene also works due to Arcadia having orgasm after orgasm throughout the scene. This is a hot scene and a great way to start the movie.

Scene 2 – Chelsie Rae and Barry Scott

Scene 5 – Nicara and Mark Ashley

Nicara also seemed more interested in the camera than Mark, which left the chemistry lacking in the scene and held it back a little further. This isn't a bad scene, but it just isn't up to the normal level I expect from Jonni Darkko.

Scene 6 – Veronica Rayne and Mark Wood

Bet Your Ass 5 is another strong anal movie from Jonni Darkko. There's plenty of chemistry throughout the movie and the scenes all have a nice pace rather than rushing to the anal as quickly as possible. Yes, I would have liked most of the scenes to have gotten to the anal a little quicker, but at the same time as it is the anal feels like part of the sexual journey rather than the sexual destination it seems to be for so many other directors. Jonni makes very nice use of the music in the scenes to start things out and he has a very nice length to the scenes so that the action never seems to drag. The only real weaknesses to the movie here are Nicara and Barry Scott. Yes, Nicara's hot, but the chemistry in her scenes was a fraction of what it is in any of the other scenes in the movie and she seems more interested in the camera than she does the actual sex. Barry provides a hard cock for his scene, but also doesn't really bring any of the chemistry that the rest of the male cast does. Bet Your Ass 5 is another Jonni Darkko movie that's well worth checking out.

The Extra Stuff

Trailers are included for Bet Your Ass 4, Boob Bangers 4, and G For Gianna. The photo gallery lasts about three and a half minutes with about five seconds per good looking but annoyingly moving snapshot. In addition to a cast listing by scene, which runs like credits, filmographies are included for the entire female cast with the exception of Veronica Rain, and surprisingly are animated without a photo of the girls. There's also bonus scenes, cumshot recaps, and a behind the scenes featurette.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about thirteen and a half minutes. Veronica starts out chatting about her scene, her hobbies, and the industry and how she got into it. Currently, most of Evil Angel’s DVDs can be found online for between about $18 and $30, with a few stores offering them in the $20 range. As usual with Evil Angel and Jonni Darkko, this one's well worth the money with the DVD showing plenty of effort all around. The sex is hot and well captured, while the technical aspects are nicely done and the extras show some very nice effort. If you're interested in this release, go pick it up.

Note to Jonni Darkko / Evil Angel: A little more anal action would have been nice here, but with how well the scenes flow I just don't know how much more I'd want to see. Thanks for keeping this series so consistently good.
