Review:
"The Best of VCX Classics 2 (Trailers)" is, as its name would imply, a compilation of vintage adult previews and teasers from the company's Golden Age. Having been one of the larger companies of the era, VCX certainly has some of the cream of the crop (crotch?), as well as a significant breadth of lesser-known titles, in its historical library, and what's presented here nicely demonstrates this fact. Clocking in at around an hour and ten minutes, this release offers up more than two dozen of these trailers. Some of them are clever or funny in that cheesy, classic, old-school style, some are erotic, and some feel more like scenes (or significant portions of scenes) from their respective films. There's a decent sampling of some of the bigger stars of the time period, as well, with ladies like Jesie St. James, Annette Haven, Seka, Jean Jennings, and so on all represented. While it's not a "real movie" and its appeal will be largely limited to a nostalgia-driven crowd, this one is still fun to check out.
