The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: Normally compilations are known for having widely varying technical aspects. Here, the scenes are nicely even and the technical problems from the original releases are even corrected a bit. There’s still a few balance problems, but for the most part the audio sounds great. The video is much the same way. The scenes are nicely lit and there’s just a hint of grain to give the scenes a slightly artistic feel. This is a very good looking and sounding movie.

Music: The music rests softly in the background and has a nice and soft feel that works well for the scenes.

Menus: The main menu nicely combines a bit of the movie with some animation to give a great first impression. The chapter menu is just as good, and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and the name of the girl in the scene, and even lets you choose whether you want to watch the entire scene or just the stocking tease.

The Feature

The Stocking Secrets series goes with a very simple idea. You start with a gorgeous woman wearing stockings and a little lingerie, a slip, or a nightgown. Then you let her slowly strip down and tease the viewer. The stockings are a part of the scene, but not necessarily a dominant part or the driving force behind the scene. Here, you get at least one scene from each of the first nine installments of the series.

Scene 1 - Jana Cova

Jana’s scene comes from Stocking Secrets 1. Jana starts things out in a colorful dress lying on the bed playfully rolling around to show the black seam on her nude nylons before pulling up her dress so you can see her butt. She removes her shoes and rubs her feet together sultrily before running her hands around the rest of her body. Jana runs them along her legs, inside her nylons, and even in her panties before taking off her garter belt, bra, and panties after a quick tease with each. After a little more teasing Jana blows a kiss goodbye.

This is a fantastic tease. Jana stretches things out very well and plays to the camera just as well. Unlike so many other performers, Jana actually makes mugging that camera work rather than holding back the scene. I should have gotten a drool rag before starting this scene.

Scene 2 - Penny Flame

Penny’s scene comes from Stocking Secrets 2. Penny starts things out in nude pantyhose and a pink nightie while saying goodbye to her sweetie on the phone. She longingly runs her hands across her body before noticing that she’s not alone. She talks to you as she sits in front of the mirror. She removes her nightgown and runs her hands across herself before sliding her pantyhose off, all while looking in the mirror. She gives her pussy a little attention with her fingers, and finally slides her pantyhose off. Once again, she waves goodbye to bring the scene to a close.

Penny does a great job here. She works the mirror extremely well, and draws things out nicely. Penny is a fantastic performer and it’s easy to see why she’s had so many fans eager for her to make her recent start in hardcore. I pray that I never meet this girl in a strip joint because she’ll probably drain me of every cent I dream of ever making!

Scene 3 - Terri Summers

Brunette Terri starts out the third scene, which comes from Stocking Secrets 3, in some innocent white lingerie. She shows off her ass before pulling on a pair of white panyhose. She runs her hands up and down her pantyhose, and even plays with herself lightly through it before taking them back off. Finally, she walks by the camera and drops them over the lens as it fades out.

This scene works very well. Terri seems very comfortable here, and is even a bit playful. I love her smile, and it shows very nicely in this scene. I also like how the pantyhose is put on as well as taken off, which adds a little to the scene.

Scene 4 - Kira Eggers

Kira starts out another scene from Stocking Secrets 3 in wide fishnet stockings, a loose woven pink sweater, pink and white heels, and pink and white flowers in her hair. She hoists up her sweater before tossing it aside. She continues to tease wearing just her stockings before the scene fades out with Kira smiling at the camera and walking past it.

This is a nice scene from Kira. She looks great, and she also seems pretty focused. I like that she didn’t strip down completely here, as it helps this scene to stand apart from many of the other scenes in the series.

Scene 5 - Jelena Jensen

Jelena starts out her second scene from Stocking Secrets 4 in a matched white bra, stockings, and thong with clear and burgundy fuck-me-pumps. She slowly removes her bra and runs her hands around her amazing breasts. She teases you mercilessly while topless, including crawling around on the floor, before sliding off her panties. Finally, the stockings come off as Jelena lets you drool over her in all her natural glory.

Not surprisingly, this is an excellent scene. Once again Kira and Jelena keep the pace nice and slow and don’t worry about if they’re teasing you too much or not. Jelena keeps her naughty teasing smile on display enough that it should have numerous sets of balls drained by the time she’s done with her tease. This is a smoking hot scene.

Scene 6 - Tall Goddess

Blonde Tall Goddess starts out her scene from Stocking Secrets 5 in some nice white lingerie and stockings. She unfastens her stockings and then slowly removes her lingerie. She takes plenty of time to tease and smile at the camera before getting down to just her stockings. TG teases you with taking off her stockings, and then breaks out a silver vibe to play with instead. She breaks from playing just long enough to take off her stockings, and then goes back to teasing and pleasing herself with her toy. Finally, the scene fades out as Tall Goddess sucks her toy with a nasty smile.

This is another great scene. Tall Goddess plays to the camera extremely well and has a smoking body. As usual, the scene’s pace is extremely well done and draws things out as far as it can to build up tension in the scene. This is an excellent scene.

Scene 7 - Tiger Lilly

Tiger appears in some black and light pink lingerie with black and white stockings and black rimmed glasses for her scene from Stocking Secrets 6. She starts out walking around outside a building and gives a few peeks as she leans against a railing. She slowly slides her lingerie off, and offers a few comments on how her panties smell. She slides her glasses on and off as she plays with her tits and panties before the scene fades out.

This is an okay scene. It starts out quite strong, but when the scene fades out it feels like there’s still plenty left to go. Tiger Lilly does a very nice job, and the short feel to the scene and the quick ending really hurt it since it felt like it had the potential for so much more.

Scene 8 - Bella Starr

Bella starts off her scene from Stocking Secrets 7 lying on the bed talking with her boyfriend about how she misses him. She tells him that she bought a new outfit to make herself feel better and then rolls around a bit on the bed to show it off. She’s wearing a pink bra with black outline, pink panties, a light green short skirt, pink and white striped stockings, and pink fuck-me shoes. She slides off her bra to show her great natural rack followed by her skirt. She plays with herself through and inside her panties before sliding them off to show her completely shaven slit. She lightly masturbates before sliding off her stockings and playing around with them a little. Finally, Bella wishes you goodbye while running one of her stockings around her leg and ass and blowing a kiss.

I’ll admit that back when I first saw Stocking Secrets 7 I didn’t have a lot of hope for Bella from her front cover shot. She reminded me of a Carmen Luvana clone, and Carmen just doesn’t do a lot for me. A few minutes into her scene, however, I was more than happy with Bella. That was several months ago and I can say that I’m just as happy watching it now. She throws out just enough lines to raise things up a notch and keeps a nice pace through the scene. I was a little surprised with how much light masturbation there was here, but I’m not complaining.

Scene 9 - Lonnie

Lonnie starts out the scene from Stocking Secrets 8 wearing a white tank, short shorts, and socks with a baby blue visor claiming to just have finished a workout. She slides her tank off sliding her shorts down a little and pulling them out to rub her pussy. After a bit of playing, Lonnie slides off her panties and then moves to the top of the couch to slide off her socks and show off her bare feet. Feeling a little thirsty and hot, Lonnie grabs a water bottle, takes a few sips, and then pours the remainder over herself slowly.

This is a nice scene from Lonni. There’s something about her that makes her outfit seem like a perfect match for her, and she moves it along nicely here. She has a killer body, and she seems to know just how to show it off. This is a hot tease that worked very well for me, and I really hope to see more of Lonnie in the future.

Scene 10 - Justine Joli

Dyed redhead Justine Joli brings things to a close with her scene from Stocking Secrets 9. Justine starts things out at the top of a stairwell wearing a black dress and pointy high heeled shoes with beige stockings with a black stripe up the back. She sucks the spiked heels on her shoes while talking about her feet and toes and playing with them. She strips out of her dress, followed by her black and white bra and panties. Justine rips open her stockings to show that there’s nothing underneath them and gently diddles herself while occasionally sucking her toes. This is an extremely hot scene. Justine does a fantastic job of playing to the camera, and does so in a manner that doesn’t seem forceful or imposing. Instead it feels like she’s playing to and for you from a vulnerable position. It definitely raises the scene to a higher level, and I enjoyed the scene tremendously because of it. This is a fantastic scene to finish the compilation with.

Best of Stocking Secrets is a fantastic compilation. I’ve often raved about this series, and one of my few complaints was that the releases were a little short. Yes, they were definitely quality features, but I know that a lot of people are nervous about picking up shorter releases. Here, Smash takes away any excuse they might have for passing this series by. It nicely collects one of the four scenes from each of the Stocking Secrets releases, with the exception of Stocking Secrets 3 which gets two scenes due to having the amazing Kira Eggers and knockout Terri Summers in the same release, and pushes the time over two hours. I don’t envy whoever had to put this compilation together, as this was a series that rarely had a bad scene. The scenes are nicely consistent in their heat, and all appear to be in their original form. If the hot sex isn’t enough, Smash nicely puts the scenes in chronological order as well as letting you know who’s who in their extremely well done chapter menu, so you can hopefully check out the rest of the release after getting a taste for it here. Best of Stocking Secrets is a darn hot compilation that’s definitely worth checking out!

The Extra Stuff

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many Smash DVDs can be found online for between $14 and $24 with most stores offering them in the $20 range. This one’s well worth the money. The scenes are darn hot and give a great look at the series. There isn’t a lot for extras, but the technical aspects show some nice care. This is a very nice compilation DVD.

Note to Smash Pictures: I love that you’re releasing compilations like this. Thanks for putting the care into it to do it right rather than just throwing out something like this after every half dozen releases.
