Becoming Elsa: A Coming of Age Story is the sophomore movie by Ricky Greenwood for Sweetheart Video, following his excellent Confessions of a Sinful Nun. This movie, as the title implies, focuses on the sexual awakening of a naïve Southern girl as she finds herself.

Becoming Elsa: A Coming of Age Story tells the story of Elsa Jean (Elsa Jean), a virginal 19-year-old from a small town in Arkansas who has never been out of the state. She gets a scholarship to UCLA and has rented a room in India's (India Summer) grand boarding house that she rents to students. Lonely and shy, Elsa Jean doesn't fit in with the other students rooming at India's and buries herself in her studies but starts finding herself becoming attracted to India. Elsa Jean meets Charlotte (Charlotte Stokely), who brings Elsa out of her shell.

Elsa Jean, the actress, is absolutely wonderful in the titular role of Elsa Jean, the character. Elsa Jean, the actress, really brings Elsa Jean, the character, to life believably. Abella Danger and Jade Kush are great as Kylie and Cassidy, respectively, this reviewer just wishes there was more screen time for both of them. Charlotte Stokely is also great as Charlotte. The cast has great onscreen chemistry for the sex scenes as well. It is needless to say, given the cast in the movie, that all of the sex scenes in the movie are winners.

The only two issues that this reviewer has with Becoming Elsa: A Coming of Age Story are that the beginning of the story feels rushed and the lack of cast member in the movie. Despite the length of the movie, the beginning of the movie feels rushed, there should have been more time spent getting to know Elsa Jean (the character), Kylie, and Cassidy prior to jumping into the truth or dare spin the bottle game. A coming of age story relies on the development of a character throughout the movie. While the viewer is given a narration at the beginning of the movie about Elsa Jean's lack of experience, this should have been shown some more to the viewer to help complete the character's arc in the movie.

Other than the rushed beginning, the story is well-done and enjoyable. There are some fun twists that play out throughout the movie and the characters in the movie are well conceived. Fans of features will find a lot to like with the plot in Becoming Elsa: A Coming of Age Story.

The other issue with the movie is the lack of characters within the movie. India's boarding house seems awfully quiet and desolate for a place close enough for UCLA students to be rooming at. Despite the beautiful wide shots that the movie was shot with, the lack of characters still makes the movie claustrophobic feeling. Elsa Jean, Kylie, and Cassidy interacting with nonsexual characters also would have provided some more dimension to their characters.

Becoming Elsa: A Coming of Age Story looks absolutely beautiful. The director of photography, the renown James Avalon, has done a wonderful job shooting Becoming Elsa: A Coming of Age Story. The movie has a combination of scenic wide shots and closer more intimate shots. The result is a movie that looks great. The lighting design for the movie is excellent too, giving the movie a nice mood. Becoming Elsa: A Coming of Age Story is a feast for the eyes.

The criticism of the movie isn't meant at all to imply that Becoming Elsa: A Coming of Age Story is a bad movie. This isn't the case at all. Becoming Elsa: A Coming of Age Story is a really fun adult movie to watch. The movie looks beautiful, the cast does a great job, the sex scenes look great, and the story is fun. Ricky Greenwood is going to continue to be a person to watch in the adult industry based on his output so far and Becoming Elsa: A Coming of Age Story is also worth watching.

As such, there may be differences between the screened edition and the commercially available edition. Becoming Elsa: A Coming of Age Story was shot digitally and is presented in the anamorphic widescreen aspect ratio of 2.35:1 letterboxed to 1.78:1 in 720p. The image quality of the movie is excellent. The image is crisp, clean, and clear with beautiful colors.

Becoming Elsa: A Coming of Age Story is presented with an English Stereo audio track. There aren't any issues with the audio quality of the movie. The dialog in the movie is clear and easy to understand at all times.

Becoming Elsa: A Coming of Age Story is a very enjoyable all-girl feature movie from director and writer Ricky Greenwood. Ricky Greenwood did an excellent job with his first all-girl feature Confessions of a Sinful Nun and has made another great feature with Becoming Elsa: A Coming of Age Story. The story for the movie is enjoyable and the characters are well-developed. The cast does a great job with the sexual and non-sexual portions of the movie. Becoming Elsa: A Coming of Age Story is well worth watching if you are a fan of all-girl feature adult movies.
