As such, any bonuses haven't been given a rating, and there could be some discrepancies between this version and other releases. Additionally, spoilers have been intentionally avoided, but some details of the plot are included below. Be forewarned.**
Review:
For most, Christmas Eve is a time to rejoice...a time of celebration, love and family. But for Tommy Pistol, it's a time of terror and trepidation, as each tiny bump in the night--any minute sound--could mean the end. Indeed, as a child, Tommy made a corrupt deal with the she-demon of Alpine lore, Krampus (Ashley Lane), to save his own naughty skin. The result? A lifetime of fear, remorse and regret...and this very night, the horned trickster--who sates its appetite by feeding upon the flesh--has finally come to cash the check. So goes The Bargain, an exceptional late-2021 release from the acclaimed director, Ricky Greenwood, and Adult Time.
It should be stated upfront that this (now award-winning) featurette won't be for everyone. The female lead, Ashley Lane, is an absolute stunner, and as Krampus, she is brilliant here. Her statuesque form fits the part perfectly, and her demonic movements, grunts and growls are spot on. Coupled with the exquisite makeup job and art direction, she is downright scary and creepy... as she should be. That said, for those looking more to jerk off, this may be off-putting (...despite the fact that the sex itself remains steamy throughout.) To be sure, the director has chosen authenticity over pure stroke material... which is 100% the correct choice, in this reviewer's humble opinion. The release would be hokey, otherwise...but this still may limit its appeal to some segments of the porn-viewing world.
But to heck with them. Everyone else will love it. Fans of horror, features, dark themes, cultural mythologies and folklore, and so on will absolutely delight in this production. In all of these regards it is utterly brilliant. As noted, the artistry that has gone into this scene (which is about half-storyline and half-sex, time-wise) is spectacular, and the camerawork and production values are superb. Ashley Lane's top-notch work in bringing Krampus to life has been noted above and cannot be overstated, and Tommy Pistol--holy shit, Tommy Pistol!--is once again industry gold. He delivers his multitude of lines flawlessly and with precision. He is captivating, as is the script from which he and Ashley are working. All of this is mainstream Hollywood level... no doubt. Indeed, it is incredible, and this featurette just simply should be seen. It--along with the work of a handful of Greenwood's peers in the industry--is indicative of what adult really can (should?) be...if it so chooses.
