The Abridged Version: I started off my review of Barely 18 #8 by referring to it as “vanilla porn.” In my view, it was just another undistinguishable young girl video peppered with tired pretenses and far too formulaic 3-position-and-pop sex. It’s funny though. Barely 18 #9 shares some of the same characteristics of its predecessor but I wouldn’t dare refer to it as being vanilla. Why? Well, there are 5 reasons why. Haley Paige, Kelly Kline, Porsha Blaze, Dani Woodward, and Randi Wright. In volume 8, Jennifer Luv was the only girl who gave director Christian Knight anything to work with. In volume 9, every single girl gives the director and his talented crew a lot to work with. Every scene is single boy/girl, which will be news to the ears of those who might be tiring of the trend of multiple partners in each and every porn scene. All 5 girls are simply stunning, with my knees shaking and my mind feeling faint just thinking about Haley Paige and her remarkable natural breasts. Haley steals the show in the only anal scene of the tape, but new girls Randi Wright and Porsha Blaze are very impressive. However, what Sin City and Christian Knight seem to be aiming for is a series similar in content to Hustler’s long running Barely Legal. And they have succeeded. In fact, I would say they’ve surpassed that model as that series has been on the decline for a while now. Would I be saying the same things if I didn’t desperately want to jump the bones of all 5 girls here? Maybe not. Even blinded by horniness though, I can still spot good and bad porn. This is good porn.

This is the scene of the newbies: new female to the biz, Porsha Blaze, and new male to the biz, Marcos Leon. This is the first time I have seen either of them. Final Thought: After Barely 18 #8, I was not especially expecting much from this one despite the cast. After all, I have seen DVDs that still suck-diddily-ucked despite having a great cast (ex. Young, Fresh, and Ripe 2). However, after Barely 18 #9 I am positively stoked to see Nikki Lorren’s first ever boy/girl in the upcoming Barely 18 #11. Was this a great cast though or is the series truly getting better? I will find out.
