With nearly (and perhaps beyond) 15 reviews under my belt I continue on with yet another one. You might also remember me from the terribly neglected and quite defunct “HeyNow’s Quickie Reviews” on my own thread on the Porn Pool board.

When all I can think of is of superior titles from other studios I know it is time to move on. This one isn’t terrible, but it plays out like the poor man’s Barely Legal from Hustler – you know that whole poor man thing – in actor terms Scott Baio is the poor man’s John Cusack or in music terms Aerosmith is the poor man’s Rolling Stones.

You might as well just get the real thing – in this case Barely Legal. But that seems a little harsh.

They do some office playtime thing as a set up to each scene, so that might be fun if you are into something a little beyond your typical gonzo production. Sex takes place in the warehouse, in a conference room, in an office. The movie has a “9 to 5” subtitle on the cover. I guess this is the sexual pleasantry that goes on between coworkers. Not that way in my office. Note: I work at the wrong place.

The girls are cute enough – more than cute, hotties even – but the video isn’t as sharp during the sex scenes as I would like and most have a somewhat unnatural yellow tint to the scene that I didn’t care for. It must be the lighting, it isn’t terrible, but a little too yellow – could use a little more golden richness coloration to it. Hey, I’m not a technical guy.

For the most part, this is a vaginal title – though there was anal sex in one scene. Seeing this title was enough to remove some of the other titles from this series from the rental queue. (A sidenote: the short lived series Not Just Another 8 Teen Movie from Zero Tolerance is a nice alternate barely legal genre title for those that don’t like the Hustler series.)

I was set to give this one a 3 star overall rating and just say that a movie would have to be fairly dreadful to rank much less than that. But I gave it another look tonight and I think it can go out the door with a 3½ rating. The girls are young and quite hot and seem like they are having fun. It’s worth a look if you like the girls (though they are pretty new, I think), or if you like what you see on the back cover – that’s about what you get.

Extras include a little text biography of each star and a short individually accessible interview for each. The behind the scenes seemed a little more fun that some I’ve seen. They show the girls coming to work and other fun BTS stuff.
