Backseat Driver 9 (Metro) Review

I'm not at all sure that a clear and official delineation between "gonzo" and "wall-to-wall" has ever been made, so let's just go ahead and call this a wall-to-wall hardcore DVD. There's no impish director behind the camera going on about how much he likes butts, or pussies, or tits. And there's no downtime between scenes with the talent proving either how normal they are, or how cool they can be. And you're not going to find any pre-coital interviews with the girls. Instead, you're given six very hardcore anal scenes, and that's it. No filler. Of course, I see that as a good thing.

Each of these scenes is preceded with about a minute worth of tease from the girls, then we cut directly to the sex. The first of which features Amber Michaels in one-on-one action with Alex Sanders. Amber is decked out in some very tasteful black lingerie throughout the scene, but no matter how tasteful the accessories are, I can't take my eyes off the incompetent boob job with which her surgeon has cursed her. Apparently, he chose not to go with either saline or silicone, but opted instead for the same material my old Stretch Armstrong was made out of. Amber is a very attractive girl, and I like her, but her tits bend and stretch and crease and are better suited for a hundred and one craft projects than they are for turning me on. I will give her this, though, she seems to really like anal sex. Alex flips her around in several positions and finishes with a healthy pop to her pretty face.

The best scene of the DVD follows with Lola, Bridgette Kerkove, and Mark Davis making a big pile on somebody else's bed. I've heard Mark Davis is very popular with the women in the adult industry, and I can understand why. He's good looking, personable, has a cool accent, and is always ready to perform. Still, every time I see him drop his pants I'm haunted by the knowledge that he will, before long, be jerking off like a monkey and convulsing as if he's just been zapped with a pair of defibrillator paddles. Here, he lies back and lets Lola and Bridgette go to work on his dick in a very closely shot double blow job. Soon, Lola climbs aboard his condom clad cock for some very spirited cowgirl action that brings the bed just to the threshold of collapse. Lola is also treated to a doggie pounding, before Bridgette gets on her back and offers her ass for the anal portion of the scene. We're given a couple of gape shots and what we're led believe is a very real orgasm on the part of Bridgette. Finally, Mark jerks off on their faces as they make out with each other. Hot scene.

I believe I've gone on record as describing Wendi Knight as "my type." She may be one of the best kept secrets in the adult industry. Why do I like her so much? Well, she has a fantastic body with all the curves in just the right places. A lot of girls meet that description, though, but what I think makes Wendi stand out is her smile. Her smile? Most of us don't go to our local smut shops or order hardcore DVDs because we're looking for a bright smile, but when I run across someone as pretty as Wendi Knight who looks as happy as she does to be doing what she's doing on screen, then I become smitten. This may all make better sense once you see her in action. In her segment, Tice Bune may not be smitten like I am, but he's turned on enough that he's capable of fucking her dog style over the side of the bed. After a couple of positions, she slides her ass down his cock reverse cowgirl and rides him until he inevitably blows his load on her face. There may be nothing innocent about her, but I can't help but to detect a certain girl next door quality in her face, even if it's covered in semen when I'm examining it.

Caroline and Brick Majors are next in another in a long series of anal scenes. I admit, I'd never seen Caroline work before, but I was immediately impressed by her ass when she climbs on top of Majors. It's round, firm, and tanned. Unfortunately, I can't offer the same praise for her boob job. For the second time, bad surgery ruins a scene for me. When she turns around for a reverse cowgirl anal shot, you can't help but to look at the thick scars running under her breasts. They're as clear and noticeable as my father's scars and he's had seven heart bypasses. Seven! I hope the scars heal, though, because I like everything else about her. Oh yeah, this ends in another facial, if you're keeping score.

Please, I beg of the industry to enact some kind of policy on naming talent. Require them to pick a name and stay with it. It's gotten so out of hand that Stric-9 in this one scene is credited under two different names--Stric-9 and Cherry. It can drive you crazy. Unfortunately, once you get past that, you're left with a very average scene with. Cherry Stric-9 Cougar Mellencamp, as she will undoubtedly soon be called, reminds me of Tricia Deveraux. She could pass for Tricia's rebellious little sister. They're both capable of offering that "what is a nice girl like that doing sucking dick on camera" look. Of the two, I prefer Tricia. It makes little difference to Vince Voyeur, however, as he doesn't take long before he delivers the goods.

Lastly, Barrett Moore welcomes Mark Davis back for a very hard ass fucking. There's nothing in the final segment that you haven't seen before, but it's all well done. Like all the scenes in Backseat Driver #9, the video is clearly shot and well presented. Nothing gets in the way of what you want to be watching. Also, like every other scene, the finale ends with a facial which is important to a lot of people.

Metro offers the same extras on most of their DVDs. Lots of previews, photo galleries, links to their websites and so on. If you own another another Metro title, don't buy this one thinking that you'll be getting different bonuses. Instead, pick this one up if you happen to be a fan of anal sex, or of some of the girls particularly.
