More so than any other director, Joe Gage knows that getting there is half the fun. In this film we are constantly teased. When will Fyerfli get Tyler’s cock? When will Marc approach Troy on the bed? When will they fuck and cum? When will some action begin in the T-room? And—most importantly of all—when will Joey Russo get in a sex scene? Hitchcock couldn’t have done the suspense any better. And in every case it is definitely worth waiting for. Now I know why he’s a “legendary” director.
BACK TO BARSTOW is as fine a film as one could hope for. With BACK TO BARSTOW, Titan and Joe Gage have created what I am sure will become an enduring classic.
