The Little Details

NOTE: This is an amateur video. Amateur and homemade movies don’t have the budget nor the resources of studio porn, and therefore rarely get close to the same quality technically. I’m rating this DVD on the same scale, but most homemade or amateur features would rarely make it above a 3 on the standard scale I use for studio porn for their technical aspects. The performers also aren’t normally the ‘glamour stars’ one expects from studio porn, and instead use people who look like somebody you might encounter in your day to day life. Finally, the camera work has a different feel, as it’s often shot from a tripod or with somebody who doesn’t have the technical training or experience of professional cameramen. Initial Expectations: Shot at Home's movies with Autumn and her Sybian are easily some of the best all girl porn out there, in my opinion. Looking back it's been ten years today that I started reviewing, and I wanted something I thought would be special to celebrate that. I'm picking this one for just that reason.

Initial Reaction: It's every bit as good as the other installments of the series, and a great release to celebrate with.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are very nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced, and I didn't notice any background noises. The video is presented in the full frame format, and is also very nice. There's a little camera motion, but the picture is clear and well lit. For a homemade movie this one looks and sounds very good.

Music: None

Watermark Warning: Although the normally don’t bother me much, there is a small and tasteful watermark warning that stays in the lower right corner. This made it very easy to filter out for me, and quite honestly, I didn’t notice it unless I thought about it.

Menus: The menus are pretty simple. The main menu keeps Shot at Home’s usual style with their logo and a photo from the movie. The chapter menu is also simple, and lets you choose where to go in the movie based on six clips from the movie.

The Feature

At just over ten minutes this scene feels a little on the short side, but as an opening introduction scene it doesn't do too bad. This is a decent scene.

Sunshine starts out the second scene in a little sexy red lingerie laying back on the bed as Autumn walks up in a little black and white polka dot lingerie holding her strap-on and its new attachment. She joins Sunshine on the bed for a little kissing and caressing before hopping back off to grab the camera and admire Sunshine's body a bit more as Sunshine plays with herself lightly and shows off. They decide to move on with the strap-on, and that since Sunshine's been getting all the action so far Autumn should be the first to receive it this time. This is another very enjoyable scene. There's great chemistry between the girls and it's clear they're having a lot of fun with each other. The strap-on works nice in leading up to the main event with the Sybian, and both girls look like they had some nice orgasms as they worked each other over. Not surprisingly, this is another hot scene.

Autumn finds Sunshine in the kitchen wearing a black dress getting a popsicle out of the freezer for the penultimate scene. This is a short but sweet scene. Sunshine looks great, and as usual looks like she's having a lot of fun. Once again as usual, the only problem here is the big one for the series that it has a non-linear feel. This scene feels like it happened right before Sunshine left, and that gives it a little of an odd feeling. I can understand wanting the Sybian to be the big payoff, but at the same time this scene feels like it would be a nice bonus after the main event to close things out. This is a nice little scene, but it felt like it would have been even nicer as the last scene in the movie.

Autumn starts out the final scene checking out Sunshine in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt as she works through her make-up case and gets ready for her. She has Sunshine sit down on the couch to explain things, starting out with having Sunshine introduce herself and talk a little about herself. She shows Sunshine the Sybian before they both strip down and check each other out. Sunshine takes the first ride with Autumn happily working the control for the camera as Sunshine enjoys the ride. Autumn can't resist moving back to kiss and play with Sunshine as she rides before taking her own turn on the Sybian with Sunshine at the controls and playing with her. The girls each take another turn on the toy before kissing and caressing each other.

This is a great final scene. Sunshine and Autumn both look like they're having a great time, and there's a very nice balance between them. The action moves at a very nice pace and both girls look like they have a few more nice orgasms. Scenes like this show why I consider this one of the best all girl series out there.

Autumn's Sybian Lessons 7 is a very nice addition to a great series. As usual there's plenty of chemistry throughout the movie, as well as a very fun feeling and nicely done camera work. The entire movie feels nicely playful, and although Sunshine has been in front of the professional camera quite a few times the movie still has a very homemade feeling to it. A lot of credit for how well this release, as well as this series, works is due to Autumn and her extremely friendly feel. She always seems like she's having a lot of fun and helps the movie and series to have a very fun feeling as well. As usual the only complaint I can really have is that the movie has a bit of a non-linear feeling to it, and when you have scenes in the middle of the movie with the girls pretty much saying goodbye to each other it does mess with the flow of the movie a little. Autumn's Sybian Lessons 7 has the same great sense of enjoyment and playfulness that's made this series one of the best all girl series out there.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, most of Shot at Home's DVDs can be found on their website for around $20. As usual, this one's well worth the money. The action is fun and playful, as well as being well captured. The technical aspects show some nice care and the extras show a touch of effort with a half hour preview reel. This is yet another release from Shot at Home that's well worth checking out.
