The Little Details

NOTE: This is an amateur video. Amateur and homemade movies don’t have the budget nor the resources of studio porn, and therefore rarely get close to the same quality technically. I’m rating this DVD on the same scale, but most homemade or amateur features would rarely make it above a 3 on the standard scale I use for studio porn for their technical aspects. The performers also aren’t normally the ‘glamour stars’ one expects from studio porn, and instead use people who look like somebody you might encounter in your day to day life. Finally, the camera work has a different feel, as it’s often shot from a tripod or with somebody who doesn’t have the technical training or experience of professional cameramen. That said, amateur and homemade features have a great charm to them, simple because the people in them are doing what they’re doing to have fun and because they enjoy it. All the things that separate them from studio porn contribute to that charm, I hope people will keep that in mind when checking out this review and not just look at the ratings as the ultimate word on this release. Since the technical aspects are normally lacking and there normally isn’t much for extras in amateur features, I’ve weighted my overall rating more heavily towards the sex than I do in most studio porn.

Initial Expectations: Autumn's Sybian Lessons is easily my favorite all girl series that's being regularly released right now. I can't help but have very high expectations.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty average for a homemade porn release. The audio is fairly well balanced, but there are a couple very minor background noises. The video is presented in the full frame format and looks nice. The lighting is pretty even, but there's a little grain and some minor camera motion.

Watermark Warning: Although the normally don’t bother me much, there is a small and tasteful watermark warning that stays in the lower right corner. This made it very easy to filter out for me, and quite honestly, I didn’t notice it unless I thought about it.

Menus: The menus are pretty simple. The main menu keeps Shot at Home’s usual style with their logo and a photo from the movie. The chapter menu is also simple, and lets you choose where to go in the movie based on six clips from the movie.

The Feature

Olivia arrives looking plenty hot in a jean jacket, black shirt, and camo pants, and is quite happy to see the Sybian on the bed. This is a very nice introduction to Olivia, as well as to Autumn for those who haven't checked out the series yet. There's a great feeling between the girls, and Olivia has a great body as well as a great attitude. You can tell that there's going to be great things to come between the girls early on in the scene, and although part of me was disappointed that we didn't get to see them moving right into fun on the bed, it also worked with the overall tease and introduction feel to the scene. This might not be a perfect opening, but it does have a heck of a lot going for it.

After Olivia change into a little lavender top and plaid shirts Autumn leaves the camera on the tripod so she can move in to play with Olivia's tits. Olivia quickly reciprocates and finds Autumn helping her out of her shirt to suck her tits. This is a very nice scene. Autumn and Olivia continue to have great chemistry, and the scene moves at a nice pace as they explore each other and Autumn makes her feel welcome. The strap-on feels like a nice addition rather than a crutch, and Autumn looks like she's enjoying giving it to Olivia just as much as Olivia enjoys getting it. This is another hot scene that's every bit as good as I've come to expect from Autumn.

Autumn starts the next scene in a sexy black and white polka dotted little outfit while Olivia goes for a white wifebeater and a short jean skirt. They kiss and check each other out while sucking on dildos before feeding each other the dildos and helping each other strip down. The girls move to the floor to fuck themselves with their toys, and naturally kiss a bit as they fuck themselves. After they each cum they head to the shower to help each other clean up and have a little more fun. They lather each other up and play with the shower head before saying their goodbyes and giving the camera a wave.

Not surprisingly, this is another very enjoyable scene. The chemistry between the girls never seems to slow down and there's a constant sense of fun and passion in the scene. The only thing close to a complaint I can have about this scene is that it obviously was shot after the girls enjoyed the Sybian, and the comments about it in the scene did throw the flow off slightly. That's a minor complaint however as this is another very nice addition to the movie.

Autumn, in her jeans and wifebeater, joins a naked Olivia on the bed where they quickly chat before Autumn moves in for another taste of Olivia's tits. Olivia helps Autumn out of her bra so she can get in a little reciprocal titty sucking in before autumn strips down to the “Get Lost” panties she bought in memory of Robert. Not surprisingly, this is another great scene. There's a great balance between the girls, and they're both every bit as into making sure that the other gets off as they are to enjoy the action themselves. The camera work seemed a touch shakier here which almost started to distract me at times, but it was a very minor distraction and never came close to throwing me out of the scene. The only thing I can really complain about for this scene is how it seems just a little off at the end due to the nonlinear format of the movie. Once again, that's a very minor complaint with this ending up as yet another fantastic Sybian scene for Autumn and her new playmate.

Autumn's Sybian Lessons 6 is a great addition to what's quite possibly the best all girl series out there. In addition to being cute as can be, Autumn has a great attitude and seems very able to find partners with an attitude that's every bit as great as her own. The movie moves at a very nice pace, but it does seem a little off at times due to it following a non-linear progression with the order of the scenes being a little mixed up rather than moving with the girls as they explore and play with each other throughout their time together. Olivia is a great playmate for Autumn from start to finish here, and is cute with a great body as well as a great attitude. There's a nice mix of action, and as usual the Sybian action just seems to be icing on the cake. Autumn's Sybian Lessons quickly became one of my favorite all girl series out there, and Autumn's Sybian Lessons 6 hasn't lost any of the charm that drew me in right from the start.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, most of Shot at Home's DVDs can be found on their website for around $20. This series continues to give you plenty of bang for that buck. The girls are hot, the action has a nice pace, and there's never a shortage of chemistry. The technical aspects are nicely done for a homemade release, and there's a touch of effort put into the extras with the half hour preview reel. This is another great addition to a fantastic series.
