The Little Details

NOTE: This is an amateur video. Amateur and homemade movies don’t have the budget nor the resources of studio porn, and therefore rarely get close to the same quality technically. I’m rating this DVD on the same scale, but most homemade or amateur features would rarely make it above a 3 on the standard scale I use for studio porn for their technical aspects. The performers also aren’t normally the ‘glamour stars’ one expects from studio porn, and instead use people who look like somebody you might encounter in your day to day life. Finally, the camera work has a different feel, as it’s often shot from a tripod or with somebody who doesn’t have the technical training or experience of professional cameramen. That said, amateur and homemade features have a great charm to them, simple because the people in them are doing what they’re doing to have fun and because they enjoy it. All the things that separate them from studio porn contribute to that charm, I hope people will keep that in mind when checking out this review and not just look at the ratings as the ultimate word on this release. Since the technical aspects are normally lacking and there normally isn’t much for extras in amateur features, I’ve weighted my overall rating more heavily towards the sex than I do in most studio porn.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: This is quite possibly the best looking and sounding homemade release I've watched. The audio is clear and well balanced with the exception of the Sybian sometimes getting a little loud, and I didn't notice any background noises outside of a little minor noise from the camera. The video is presented in the full frame format and looks great. It's clear and well lit, as well as having a smooth hand with the camera. This may be an amateur release, but it looks and sounds a heck of a lot better than a lot of professional releases I've watched.

Watermark Warning: Although the normally don’t bother me much, there is a small and tasteful watermark warning that stays in the lower right corner. This made it very easy to filter out for me, and quite honestly, I didn’t notice it unless I thought about it.

Menus: The menus are pretty simple. The main menu keeps Shot at Home’s usual style with their logo and a photo from the movie. The chapter menu is also simple, and lets you choose where to go in the movie based on six clips from the movie.

The Feature

That's definitely a good thing here, and it let Bella make a very nice first impression with this scene.

Autumn starts the second scene in a sexy little black outfit on the bed with Bella, who's in a cute little pink and white bra and panties with a few books between them. Autumn talks about how stressed she is over her tests and how she's glad Bella came over so they could have a little fun. Bella immediately insists on a break, and frees Autumn's tits so she can suck, jiggle, and blow on them before Autumn helps her out of her bra to suck her tits in return while also mixing in a little pussy rubbing through Bella's panties. Bella helps Autumn strip down to her panties and breaks out some baby oil to rub all over her before Autumn reciprocates rubbing it over Bella along with helping her out of her panties to start playing with Bella's bald beaver. This is another great scene. The opening is hokey, especially for a homemade style movie, but the girls are cute enough and having enough fun that I really didn't care about how generic it was. There's a nice balance between the girls, as well as well captured action with plenty of chemistry and a great playful feeling. I had high hopes for this scene after Bella's solo opening scene and previous installments of this series, and although it was a bit different in style it definitely didn't disappoint.

Autumn and Bella start the third scene out in black and white tank tops, respectively, along with short girly shorts kissing and helping each other out of their tops so they can play with and kiss each other's tits. They move to the bed where Autumn straddles Bella to bounce on her a little and to let Bella rub her pussy before moving around to suck Bella's tits and check out her pussy before going to work eating it. Not surprisingly, this is another fun scene. The chemistry that came out so nicely in the opening scene continues to flow well here, and the girls keep the action moving at a very nice pace. Autumn makes things nice and fun bringing out her lineup of toys, and it lets the girls feel like they're having a lot of fun experimenting with them. The action is also very well captured, and in fact had a better look and flow than many mainstream adult scenes I've watched. This is yet another very nicely done scene.

Finally things take a little step back, as this series normally seems to do for the last scene, with Bella waiting on the bed wearing a little purple short and hotpants and Autumn coming in wearing a little olive top with short jean skirt and flip flops so they can introduce themselves to each other. Autumn tells her a little about the Sybian and shows her some of the attachments before they choose a small one to start out with and Autumn helps her strip down while admiring her body. Autumn strips down and offers to demonstrate before eagerly hopping up to take a very happy ride as Bella watches in eager anticipation while running her hands around Autumn and sucking her tits a bit. Bella quickly gets into the toy when she takes her turn with Autumn reaching around from behind to play with her as well as working the controls for her. Autumn lets Bella work the controls as she gets back on with another toy, and then Autumn eats Bella's pussy a little before letting her try out one of the larger toys for the Sybian. Once again Autumn and Bella turn out a great scene. The chemistry and playfulness that made the rest of the movie so enjoyable is still on full display here, and might even be kicked up a notch due to Bella's enjoyment of exploring what the Sybian can do. This is easily the longest scene in the movie, but it never feels like it's being stretched out, and if anything felt like it could have gone even longer if the girls didn't look like they were satisfied with where they ended it. This is a great scene to close out a great movie.

Autumn's Sybian Lessons 5 is one heck of a great release. This series seems to be getting better with each release, and this one grabbed me right away and never let me go. Bella is cute as can be and has great chemistry with Autumn right away. Autumn, as usual, looks fantastic as well as looking like she's having a great time playing with Bella. They scenes are all captured extremely well with a nice pace, and even though the chemistry starts out strong it only grows as the movie goes on. Although the movie starts to journey into generic porn with the studying setup for the one scene, the chemistry is strong enough between the girls that even this only seems like a minor hiccup that's easily forgotten minutes later. This is easily my favorite installment of Autumn's Sybian series so far, and leaves me eagerly anticipating the next release. Currently, most of Shot at Home's DVDs can be found on their website for around $20. Don't worry about the price tag on this one, just pick it up. The action is captured very well with excellent technical aspects for an amateur release, and as usual with Shot at Home there's a touch of care put into the extras with a preview reel. This is a great amateur release that deserves to be checked out.
