The Little Details

NOTE: This is an amateur video. Amateur and homemade movies don’t have the budget nor the resources of studio porn, and therefore rarely get close to the same quality technically. I’m rating this DVD on the same scale, but most homemade or amateur features would rarely make it above a 3 on the standard scale I use for studio porn for their technical aspects. The performers also aren’t normally the ‘glamour stars’ one expects from studio porn, and instead use people who look like somebody you might encounter in your day to day life. Finally, the camera work has a different feel, as it’s often shot from a tripod or with somebody who doesn’t have the technical training or experience of professional cameramen. That said, amateur and homemade features have a great charm to them, simple because the people in them are doing what they’re doing to have fun and because they enjoy it. All the things that separate them from studio porn contribute to that charm, I hope people will keep that in mind when checking out this review and not just look at the ratings as the ultimate word on this release. Since the technical aspects are normally lacking and there normally isn’t much for extras in amateur features, I’ve weighted my overall rating more heavily towards the sex than I do in most studio porn.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty good for a homemade amateur release. The audio is pretty clear and well balanced, and I didn't notice any background noises or other audio problems to interfere with the movie. The video is presented in the full frame format and doesn't look too bad for a homemade release. There's a touch of grain to the presentation as well as some obvious lighting imbalances that wash out some of the color. At the same time, Autumn shows some skill behind the camera and seems to do a nice job controlling most of the aspects which are under her control.

Watermark Warning: Although the normally don’t bother me much, there is a small and tasteful watermark warning that stays in the lower right corner. This made it very easy to filter out for me, and quite honestly, I didn’t notice it unless I thought about it.

Menus: The menus are pretty simple. The main menu keeps Shot at Home’s usual style with their logo and a photo from the movie. The chapter menu is also simple, and lets you choose where to go in the movie based on six clips from the movie.

The Feature

Autumn is a hot busty blonde with a camera and a Sybian sex toy. Samara is a cute little Puerto Rican – Italian with dark hair and big boobs of her own. Autumn brings her camera and toy to a hotel room to meet up with Samara so they can have plenty of fun.

Bottle blonde Autumn joins cute dark haired Samara on the bed and starts checking her out. They get in a little smalltalk as their hands start wandering around each other, and Autumn doesn't waste a lot of time stripping down as Samara plays with her pussy and sucks her tits. This is a very nice scene. There's great chemistry between the girls, as well as a fantastic feeling of playfulness. I know many aren't fans of toys, but here they fit into the scene nice coming off as just another way that Samara and Autumn explore each other. It's all captured from a tripod, but Autumn has a good idea of the limitations of the tripod and it ends up capturing the action very well. This was a very nice start to the movie.

Autumn decides they should take a bubble bath together, and shows off a little for the camera as the bath gets ready. They play a little with the bubbles caress each other, and chat in the tub. Afterwards they dry off, check out what a mess the room is, and jump on the bed.

This is a nice little scene. It doesn't have any actual sex, but it does have plenty of personality between the girls and kicks up the chemistry extremely well. Throw in a bit of eye candy and you have a scene that although it's not very hot on its own, does add extremely well to the overall release.

Autumn checks out Samara as she finishes her makeup and does a little paperwork before chatting with her and letting her tell the camera about herself. Autumn joins her in front of the camera where they check each other out a little as they help each other strip down, and take plenty of tastes of each other's tits. Autumn breaks out the Sybian and shows Samara a little about it before letting her ride it, and can't help but hop on back to caress her tits as Samara tries it out. Autumn puts the cock attachment on the Sybian next to take her own ride, and lets Samara work the controls as she faces first backwards and then forwards on it, with Samara hopping on behind her to play with her tits as Autumn faces forward on it. Autumn lets Samara have another try in reverse cowgirl before they each profess their love for the machine.

This is a very nice scene. Autumn keeps things very friendly both behind the camera and in front of it, and unlike many stars who go behind the camera a bit, never forgets that it's not all about her. There's a very nice balance between the girls through the scene, and Autumn shows a great love of sharing the Sybian. She takes her time through the scene, but it never feels drawn out and always feels natural and fun. This is a very hot scene.

Autumn's Sybian Lessons 3 is a very enjoyable all girl release. I'll admit to being a touch worried about this one going in, as so often the toy seems like a crutch in all girl movies. Those fears were quickly thrown aside, as Autumn had such a friendly feeling that the toys immediately seemed like just another way for the girls to share with each other. Even though the Sybian is one of the main draws of this release, the focus never goes onto the toy so heavily that the girls and their sexual enjoyment and satisfaction are forgotten about. The movie also works very well due to Autumn having a very good idea of what her camera can and can't capture from a tripod, which leaves this one of the best captured movies that's mostly shot from a tripod that I've seen in a very long time. Autumn's Sybian Lessons 3 is a very enjoyable all girl homemade release that showcases toys every bit as well as it does the sexuality of the girls playing with them.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, most of Shot at Home's DVDs can be found on their website for around $20. If you like all girl action, this one's well worth the money. All three scenes are very enjoyable and the movie moves at a nice pace with a nice variety and plenty of chemistry. The technical aspects are pretty good for a homemade release, and there's a touch of effort put into the extras with a half hour preview reel. This is another great Shot at Home release.
