NOTE: This is an amateur video. Amateur and homemade movies don’t have the budget nor the resources of studio porn, and therefore rarely get close to the same quality technically. I’m rating this DVD on the same scale, but most homemade or amateur features would rarely make it above a 3 on the standard scale I use for studio porn for their technical aspects. The performers also aren’t normally the ‘glamour stars’ one expects from studio porn, and instead use people who look like somebody you might encounter in your day to day life. Finally, the camera work has a different feel, as it’s often shot from a tripod or with somebody who doesn’t have the technical training or experience of professional cameramen. All the things that separate them from studio porn contribute to that charm, I hope people will keep that in mind when checking out this review and not just look at the ratings as the ultimate word on this release. Since the technical aspects are normally lacking and there normally isn’t much for extras in amateur features, I’ve weighted my overall rating more heavily towards the sex than I do in most studio porn.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are a little weaker than normal for Shot at Home. The audio is a little low for much of the movie, and the balance is slightly off as well. Worst of all, the audio and video aren't in synch early in the movie. The video is presented in the full frame format and looks okay. The lighting might be a little low and there's noticeable grain throughout the movie. Most of the action is captured by a tripod or the camera being set somewhere, but there is a little motion as well.

Watermark Warning: Although the normally don’t bother me much, there is a small and tasteful watermark warning that stays in the lower right corner for the first scene and the upper right corner for the second scene. This made it very easy to filter out for me, and quite honestly, I didn’t notice it unless I thought about it.

Menus: The menus are pretty simple. The main menu keeps Shot at Home’s usual style with their logo and a photo from the movie. The chapter menu is also simple, and lets you choose where to go in the movie based on six stills.

The Feature

The only thing that holds back this scene is that during the first portion of the scene the audio and video don't synch too well, which is very rare for Shot at Home. I guess this helps give the scene a bit more of an amateurish feeling and thankfully Autumn and Robert do a good enough job that it doesn't interfere with the scene too much. This is a good start to the movie.

Scene 2 - Autumn and Robert

Autumn sits back on a staircase in a pair of pink panties under a tan skirt and with a pink and white lingerie-ish top. Scene 3 - Autumn and Robert

Of course, being an anal cream pie fan this one worked especially well for me at the end, and although Autumn couldn't really get any out I still don't doubt that she didn't get a load of cock cream up her shitpussy. This is a great final scene.

That reality along with good looking people with chemistry really made Autumn and Robert 2 for me, but I also like how they mixed things up. All those things make homemade pornos like this easy to relate to, but the camera work is also well done here so that you can actually watch it and enjoy rather than wincing at how little somebody knew about working a video camera. Autumn and Robert 2 is a very enjoyable homemade movie that's worth checking out.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, most of Shot at Home's DVDs can be found on their website for around $20. Not surprisingly, this is a hot movie. The technical aspects are a little weaker than I normally expect from Shot at Home, but the action is laid back and very enjoyable with some nicely realistic anal built in. As usual, there's also a bit of effort put into the extras. This is a nicely done DVD with its biggest problem being the audio early in the movie.

Note to Shot at Home: I hope you can correct the audio early in the movie for future pressings of this DVD.
