Autumn 10: Autumn's Sybian Ride Review

The Little Details

NOTE: This is an amateur video. Amateur and homemade movies don’t have the budget nor the resources of studio porn, and therefore rarely get close to the same quality technically. I’m rating this DVD on the same scale, but most homemade or amateur features would rarely make it above a 3 on the standard scale I use for studio porn for their technical aspects. The performers also aren’t normally the ‘glamour stars’ one expects from studio porn, and instead use people who look like somebody you might encounter in your day to day life. Finally, the camera work has a different feel, as it’s often shot from a tripod or with somebody who doesn’t have the technical training or experience of professional cameramen. That said, amateur and homemade features have a great charm to them, simple because the people in them are doing what they’re doing to have fun and because they enjoy it. All the things that separate them from studio porn contribute to that charm, I hope people will keep that in mind when checking out this review and not just look at the ratings as the ultimate word on this release. Since the technical aspects are normally lacking and there normally isn’t much for extras in amateur features, I’ve weighted my overall rating more heavily towards the sex than I do in most studio porn.

Initial Expectations: Autumn has been doing a great job with her movies for Shot at Home lately, and I'm going into this one with extremely high expectations.

Initial Reaction: It's a fantastic and fun instructional release with plenty of well presented information as well as plenty of hot action.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody with even the least interest in a Sybian or who's a fan of female masturbation

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting natural masturbation

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are well done for being a homemade movie and being shot outside. There's a fair amount of wind noise, but when one gets a few glimpses of the wind I'm really surprised that it wasn't worse. Beyond that, the audio is pretty clear and has an even level with a few of the background noises one can't help but expect. The video is presented in the full frame format and looks good. There's a touch of grain and a few shadows, but the camera work is smooth and for being shot outdoors it looks more than respectable.

Watermark Warning: Although the normally don’t bother me much, there is a small and tasteful watermark warning that stays in the lower right corner. This made it very easy to filter out for me, and quite honestly, I didn’t notice it unless I thought about it.

Menus: The menus are pretty simple. The main menu keeps Shot at Home’s usual style with their logo and a photo from the movie. The chapter menu is also simple, and lets you choose where to go in the movie based on six clips from the movie.

The Feature

Autumn is a hot busty blonde with a camera and a Sybian sex toy. After taking her toy around to show off to several other girls, she's back with a solo effort along with a bit of instruction.

Autumn starts out in jeans and a purple talk talking about how she's going to show how to use the Sybian before leading the way back to where she keeps it. She talks about how she wants this to be a special treat, and since it's a nice day outside she's going to do her demonstration outside. She unpacks the box and talks her way through setting it up and the controls before stripping down to her panties nice and slow for the camera. Autumn sets up the Sybian with a stubby nub talking about what she's doing before tossing her panties aside, giving her pussy a little rub, and then mounting the Sybian with obvious pleasure. Before long, Autumn has a nice orgasm and decides to move on.

This is a very nice opening scene. Autumn is as friendly as always, and as beautiful as she is friendly. She does a great job showing off setup on the Sybian and what the controls do, as well as providing great eye candy as she shows it off. Autumn gives the movie a hot and very sexy opening.

Autumn shows off the “Mr. Finger” attachment and how you can tweak it a little to work best before putting it on and showing how much it can rotate and vibrate. Autumn moves up to the next size before taking a quick break to run inside for the lube she forgot to bring out.

This is another nice scene. Autumn continues to be friendly and informative, and little things like forgetting the lube make the movie all the more realistic. She continues to show plenty of enjoyment for her toy, and is as enjoyable to watch as she is informative. This scene continues the movie very well.

Autumn moves up another size before dropping to her knees to suck the toy before turning the Sybian on. She gets up and turns around for a reverse cowgirl ride. Autumn bounces on the toy a few times before cranking it up. Once again it doesn't take her long to get off, and afterwards she feels the need to take a break in the shade to cool off while rubbing herself lightly. Autumn pulls out a bulbous toy next, and works that one over for a few minutes as well before deciding that it's time to take another break.

This is a shorter segment, but no less satisfying. Autumn continues to show a calm enthusiasm that shows how much fun she's having as well as doing a very nice job demonstrating and talking her way through it. This is yet another very nicely done scene.

Autumn breaks out the hose to help cool off before putting on a little show and moving on with her last four toys. She starts out with a larger version of the last attachment before being amazed at how large the toys get and wondering if there are any cocks that are really that big out there watching. Autumn moves around to show off another position the toy can be used it before deciding to show off another toy.

This is a fun little break in the middle of the movie. Autumn does a great job teasing the camera, and keeps it as a nice little intermission before getting back to work with the Sybian. I love how she moves the toy around to show more of its options as well as how much fun she looks like she's having through it all. This is nice little break along with plenty more of the good stuff.

Autumn breaks out a large attachment that she can't even fit her mouth around when she tries. She's not sure she can fit her pussy around it and joking calls for more lube before starting to lube up the toy while talking about how one should never be shy with the lube. Autumn gets up to mount the toy, and seems amazed with herself when she's able to not just get the head into her pussy, but to enjoy it. This is an amazing scene. I was in awe of the size of the toy and how Autumn was able to fit it inside herself. Best of all is how amazed and spent she looked at the end of the scene, which quite possibly might have been my favorite moment in the movie. Not surprisingly, this is another great segment.

Finally, Autumn pulls out what looks to be about a two inch ball. She admires it and sucks it before putting it on, joking about cranking it all up to end with a bang, and then playing with herself naturally as she sits back on the stool by the fence. Autumn decides to do the last toy laying on her back, and even breaks out a large pink dildo to suck at the same time. After satisfying herself one last time, Autumn thanks everybody for watching and blows them a kiss before letting them know that she now has to clean everything up and puts it all back in the box.

This is a very nice final scene. I love Autumn's little masturbation in the middle and how turned on she gets just showing off the toy. Her attitude seemed to be getting better the longer the movie went on, and really peaks here. There's no doubt that she's having a blast, and she lets it end the movie on the same extremely high note that she maintained throughout the reset of the movie. This is a great ending to a great movie.

Autumn 10: Autumn's Sybian Ride is nothing short of a fantastic solo release. Autumn looks like she's having fun throughout the entire movie, and does a great job showing off the Sybian and walking viewers through it. She goes from setup and controls to a demonstration, and keeps a smile on her face the entire time. Autumn never goes overboard with her enthusiasm, but there's no doubt as to whether or not she loves her toy and that makes this easily one of the best instructional releases I've watched. Yes, there's plenty of action from start to finish with the movie being as much or more of a solo release as it is an instructional release, but with how friendly Autumn is throughout the movie it would seem wrong to try to break the movie into two parts with one focusing on the technical side of things while the other focused on the demonstration and sex. All of the movie except the first few minutes takes place in Autumn's backyard, and although you get some of the limitations of outdoor shooting, the action is well captured for the circumstances and you never have a problem hearing Autumn as she talks about the toy. The movie also has a very nice flow, and pretty much comes off as one big scene with a short intermission in the middle for her to show off a bit. If there's a complaint here I honestly can't say that I know what it is, as this is a very fun and very friendly release that should please anybody with even the slightest interest in the Sybian. Autumn 10: Autumn's Sybian Ride is a great addition to a fantastic homemade series with Autumn only getting better over time.

Currently, most of Shot at Home's DVDs can be found on their website for around $20. Don't worry about the price on this one, just go pick it up. Autumn is as beautiful and playful as she is informative, and that makes this one heck of a hot and enjoyable instructional movie. The technical aspects are decently done for the circumstances, and there's a touch of effort put into the extras with a half hour preview reel. This is a great homemade release that I can't help but very highly recommend.
